Somehow that only makes him scarier.

It shouldn't. Go check out Vsauce's video on youtube about why we feel afraid. Ambiguity falls into something called the, "Uncanny Valley," where we recognize something, but it isnt quite as it should be. Humans feel this ambiguity as terror, the feeling that something isn't quite right, theres a feeling of danger, or fear, but it doesnt have a reason to exist. (This is different from horror, where there is a direct and obvious danger or fear) Basically, because slenderman lacks a face, he falls into the Uncanny Valley, where he is recognized as human(oid), but he is ambigous, so invokes a feeling of terror. However, with a face, even if it is crude, is still a face, and a friendly one at that, so it isnt as ambigous, and therfore less terrorizing.

TLDR; We feel terror because of ambiguity, which the face removes.

Maybe he wasn't quite in the valley before. He was on the mannequin side of it. Not the "I'm going to kill you" kind, but the "You know you want this Armani suit" kind.
Putting the face on kind of pushed him into the valley now that he has an expression that contradicts his behavior.
Of course, that's just what my goosebumps are telling me. The valley is different for everyone.
PS. Already saw the video. In fact, I'm subscribed to Vsauce.

It's not the lack of face that's scary to me.. it's stuff like this.
And the pictures similar to this but at dark, with tentacles reaching out from his back..
It's just so.. menacing.

Yes, I can understand that. That is ambiguity though. There is no obvious danger from a tall man with tentacles coming from his back on the road. However... those tentacles aren't... natural. And what is he doing all the way out here, in the middle of nowhere, where a human shouldn't. It isn't normal, and the fog and darkness doesn't help. The only reason to feel horror from seeing him standing there in the distance, is if you see his posture as... well... menacing.

On a different note, should I make an account? I've made a few, but they seem to randomly stop working or get removed. I never delete my account, does black daddy do it because I don't post content?

I'm not entirely sure.. but.. I suppose you might as well make one if you like to stick around here. Better than being seen as just another anon.
