Idk if it's actually Jesus but...
"'If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads." Leviticus 20:13
I am not a christian or ANYTHING like that, I just want to say that it actually is in the bible.

Didn't he say a bunch of weird things that we ignore?

its doesnt say "sexual relations"
Its says "lie" or "lay"
after a couple hundreds of years things get messed up in translation.

You are the second to say that, but it's simply a differen't translation, if we go to the root it's "Qui dormierit cum masculo coitu femineo", in which dormierit works both for lay or to have sexual relations

I'm just saying translation is lost over the years.

I'm pretty sure the bible actually says "If a man LAYS with a man as one does with a woman", and that's not necessarily a sexual reference, because of all the other misogyny in Leviticus, it might just mean "Don't treat a man like you'd treat a woman". That's my five cents.

From the New Testament, Romans 1:26-27
"For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet."

Now that's a whole different passage entirely, and that one seems more clear about it. Thanks anon

In the Christian view, yes. And though Jesus himself never really brought up the issue, homosexuality is condemned in the New Testament (Romans).

Jesus is discussed in the new testament. Old Jewish laws, oral tradition, and philosophy create the old testament and serve as background to the significance to the coming of Christ. Leviticus is known as one of the very intolerant, very outdated, very impractical laws of Judaism that, because of the old testament, is considered by many Christians, and atheists, practices that are upheld by modern Christians. I am Christian, but gay marriage, abortion, euthanasia, and most personal choices that don't impact the safety or health of others. Before people say "being gay isn't a choice" I said gay marriage, not being gay.

Not Jesus Christo, Leviticus is part of the Old Testament, that would be Pappa Christo
