The flag wouldn't be waving due to lack of air. The only reason it waved when the first placed it was due to the top bar bouncing that held the American flag in place, While this may be a true fact, the picture is fake.

The flag is "wavy" because during travel it got wrinkled. They decided to leave it that way. theres also bars on the top and sides to hold it up, however when wrinkled, looks wavy

Actually that's incorrect. It's very possible that this picture in particular is fake but the flag would move as long as something started moving it in the first place. Since there's no gravity in space there's not going to be any force moving against it to slow or stop it so it would move consistently until the end of time.

air resistance* gravity would still pull it to a stop.

There is gravity on the surface of the moon. It's only about a 1/6th as powerful as here on Earth's surface but it is gravity.

Wrong. They are real flags with a metal rod across the rod of the flag to hold it up.

the pictures just seems to be an old picture of the flag with the flag poorly (possibly mspaint) filled in with white. In doesnt match the contrast of the rest of the picture at all.
