Dude - everyone dies sometime. It doesn't matter that you die - did you live?

In that case you can go ahead and die and nobody should care. Right?

I don't know if that's a fair question when speaking about a dog.

What the ****? How is this edgy?

The idea is that the life of the subject is more important than its death. As long as they truly lived, that's what important. Not that they died.

At least that's what I extrapolated from it.

I really am sick of people responding with "edgy" to ******* EVERYTHING now, and being thumbed up because it's the new Carlos.

Oh damn it, I haven't watched that far in the series.

Oh well, I'll probably forget about it by the time I actually get around to watching it.

He was twenty. As far as dogs go, that's a pretty goddamn long time for one to live. He feels no more pain, now.

Thanks. He lived a good twelve years before we had to put him down. I'm just sad I don't have any pictures of him to remember him by. He was the cutest Boxer I've ever seen.

Why do bad things happen to dogs? What did they do to deserve death? They follow you, love you, and they are probably more loyal to you than anyone else you will ever meet. RIP Schoep's dog.

In this particular case, the dog was twenty. It wasn't a "bad" thing that happened, he just reached the end of a long and happy life. If you live, you must die. I like to think of it as "returning what we were given when we no longer need it."

Provided that it died of age (Which is most likely as anything else would be pretty much common knowledge on the internet), it "deserved" death by being born. Entropy, man, it's one hell of a drug.

Schoep is actually the dog's name, the man's name is John. I've been following them on facebook for awhile, was not expecting that post

They love seven times more than anyone, so they must age seven times faster. That's the only reasoning that helps me make sense of it because its too hard to just admit that it's just ****** up.

i heard that the dog was about 20 years old when he died. thats a nice length of life for a dog so we can at least appreciate the fact that his life was long and he was loved for most of it.
