<- Somehow whenever someone mentions pero this is the first thing that comes to my mind

I'm sorry it's just that your country name sounds delicious.

Peras!

But yeah, it does sounds like pear in spanish.

You should try Peruvian food, it is considered one of the most varied and exquisite on the world (second to the frenchies I think).

Would have to be Papa a la huancaina, or Olluquito.

Yours?

Ají de gallina, for sure. I almost spent all my childhood living in Peru. Missed out a bit on the cooking, but I can speak English. Still not sure if it was a fair trade to this day.

Well, if you ever go back there, try to get fat.

I spent all my childhood there, as well as the start of my puberty. Damn, I miss Ceviche.

I usually end up going every few years, or whenever I have enough money to. And I'm already fat, so no worries there. Ceviche is so nice, I think I still have some sachets of ceviche base, actually...

Yeah, but the fish they get over there is so fresh.

I mean, like, most of the seafood restaurants I've visited are on beaches, and they fish their own stuff.

Yeah, that's the only downside. I suppose I could just go to the coast, and then cry because I can't get anything remotely good.
