People think that Hitler was the pinnacle of all evil. He really wasn't. Don't get me wrong, I'm not condoning the holocaust or WW2 in anyway but he just simply isn't, well, Hitler himself.

what the **** is going on. "hurr well what hitler did was wrong, but-" ********, saying that hitler was "just following his belief" does not ******* ease what he did to an entire ethnicity of people. He WAS evil. he convinced an entire country to hate and destroy a culture. HE was responsible for the deaths of 80 million people during world war 2.

he wasn't evil, he didn't want to do bad. He was a normal guy with friends and family he owned a dog too. He thought his intentions were for the better of the planet, and im sure as hell that if he won, he would've been the hero and we would hear about churchil being evil

I'm sure if he didn't start a holocaust, people would see him as a regular, lame dictator, like Mussolini.

Not to mention Hitler was bad at literally everything he did, barring public speaking.

No he wasn't. At all, actually.
Just because someone has done bad things doesn't mean they have to be the worst type of person academically or personally. Even Pol Pot was actually a very compassionate and comical person when he was in the company of friends

You misread my post. Or didnt read it at all.
I mean that Hitler was bad at a lot of things.
He was a bad leader.
He was a bad economist
He was a bad military commander.
He wasnt too great at painting, either.
The Allies even had numerous chances to kill the Fuhrer mid-war, but all were given up and plans scrapped because he was making so many mistakes militarily that eliminating him would cost more lives and would just be giving the job to someone who could do it better.

If I didn't read your post, I couldn't have replied with any semblance of context.
He wasn't a bad leader, he was a great leader, he was hands on and inspirational to all of his men.
He wasn't a bad economist. He nearly single-handedly brought Germany out of a worse depression than America was in in less than half of the time.
He was never a military commander, he was a curiour, although he did receive many medals of honour and was considered a war-hero by most of Germany for his bravery and skill. He had personal strategists and generals, while Hitler himself engaged in political stints through-out Germany and all over the rest of Europe
His skills in painting are subjective, as are most creative things. I personally enjoy his paintings, although I wouldn't pay millions for them or be the first to put them in an art gallery
That is utter ******** and you should be ashamed of your own intelligence if you actually believe that crap. Nobody cared for the loss of German lives at the time (kinda like they didn't care for the Japanese when they dropped the bomb), nor did they have 'multiple chances to kill him'. The only person who came close to assassinating Hitler was a German farmer who decided against it. Again, Hitler wasn't the military commander, he just gave 'Go-Aheads' and focused on more political scandals
Perhaps you should do your own research, rather than just watching every American bias WW2 movie and game and deciding you know enough to speak for fact

"He wasn't a bad economist"
WRONG DUMBASS.
He borrowed ********* of money and the only way he could pay it back was by conquering other countries and taking their money.

Do you really believe this? "nearly
single-handedly
brought Germany out of a worse depression than America was in in less than half of the time" Hitler had geniuses of all kinds around him.

Yes I do believe that. I never said he didn't have any help, but he's the one who always gave the 'Go-ahead's and he's the one who had the initiative and came up with (at least the fundamentals) of the bulk of the plans

Im not going to try and refute any of your points since im going to bed, except this one:
He wasn't a bad economist. He nearly single-handedly brought Germany out of a worse depression than America was in in less than half of the time.
No. No he didnt. The Minister of Economics from the previous government did. Hitler then took credit for this, and then sacked him. Hitler only started his massive re armament program that worked only as a temporary fix and lead to recession later.
He *was* a military commander. In fact, he led numerous battles on the Eastern Front. Stalihngrad? The defense of Burlin? Hitler had a direct hand in both of those, and the losses were his fault. He wasnt the commander of the Battle of Stalingrad, but the destruction of the 6th Army group *was* his fault. He sacked numerous generals during the final Battle of Berlin for "lying" to him about the destruction of his armies, while he believed they still remained.
I like a few of his paintings, actually.
Finally, there is no need to insult me. I made valid points that, instead of refuting with any actual evidence, you just said "no, you're wrong. Shut up." There is no surer way to let everyone know you have no argument than attempting to insult your opponent.
I am not American, nor do I watch american War movies or play FPS games. My research is based on books.

Do you have any books or links I could go through that support your side of it? As they do not match up with my own research (than again that's not surprising. Nearly everything surrounding the Nazi's is bias one way or another)
I didn't insult you, I just said you should be ashamed of yourself if you actually believe the military had multiple chances to kill Hitler (whom they deemed one of the most evil men in history) and chose not to because "Well, he does a bad job of running the place" (especially considering how the Nazi's quickly became one of the most powerful forces on Earth. He obviously wasn't doing a bad job). Besides, you also had no need to begin your last post with "You misread my post, or didn't read it at all" when I read it just fine
It's ironic that you say your points are valid (despite a lack of evidence on your part), while mine are not (because of a lack of evidence on my part). I didn't say "No, you're wrong. Shut up", I promptly refuted your argument with my own. There is no surer way to know when someone is pompous than by arguing the nature of an argument, rather than the argument itself (I mean, honestly, it's a bit hard to say I have no argument when you literally have just a good as one when I do)
As is mine. And in that case I apologize; I just learned a lot about Nazi's and their actual political and military processes very early on, and yet nearly everyone I came across only listened to propaganda in regards to them (then promptly called me a Nazi when I tried to correct it), so I've just taken the stance of trusting people know more about Nazi's through that same propaganda than through actual research

When I said "You misread my post, or didn't read it at all", I didnt mean it as an insult. I may have misread your post, though it seemed to me as if you had taken what I said in a context other than I had meant.
I honestly don't remember many of the books ive read, though I believe some were 'Rise and Fall of the Third Reich' by William L Shirer, 'Killing Hitler: The Plots, The Assassins, and the Dictator Who Cheated Death' by Roger Moorhouse, and another I believe, though I cant remember.

I agree with you here. I mean what Hitler did was wrong, the genocide of any people isn't something I would condone. But Hitler himself was a man simply following his beliefs, which is something we all do. It was just too bad that his beliefs involved the attempted extermination of an entire religion.
