127 beers ...

If they were pints that would be 72 liters

And at 2.7 units a pint that would be 342.9 units , typical 750ml bottle of vodka has 30 units , that's 11 bottles of vodka.

Average adult has 4-6 liters of blood in the body , lets say andre had 10 liters , that would mean he would have drunk 7x more beer than he has blood.

The equivalent of a normal (5 liter blood adult) adult drinking 35 liters of beer so around 61 pints

|Even if they were 330ml bottles that he was drinking that's still 73 pints

So for a normal adult half his size that would be 36 pints

So it is of course impossible that e took a few pisses and vomited in that time, reducing the amount in his bloodstream?

Can anyone confirm the Vatican Porn thing?
User avatar #201 to #181 - zafara (07/17/2013) [-]
Well, not really sure, but perhaps this will help.

For years, back in the old days, the Catholic church did endorse prostitution. The idea was that while a woman must remain pure before marriage, a man had to know how to have sex. So prostitutes were employed by the Catholic church to teach boys how to have sex and make it good, so they'd have some experience before they married. Supposedly, this practice discouraged adultery, as the woman would find the sex good and the man knew the best ways to have sex, so they wouldn't go find alternative partners outside of marriage.

Given this information, I really wouldn't be surprised if the Vatican did own a porn company.

"Given this information, I really wouldn't be surprised if the Vatican did own a porn company. "
Then check yourself. You're comparing an idea from "the old days" that looks silly now, but may not have then, to an idea now that is patently silly. They only owned a company that sold many items. Porn happened to be in the inventory without their knowledge.
User avatar #219 to #217 - zafara (07/17/2013) [-]
And your point? There's no proof that they didn't know and are just denying it.
#223 to #219 - cabbagemayhem (07/18/2013) [-]
You got me. I can't prove their innocence, but stuff like that happens all the time and you can't prove their guilt. Innocent until proven guilty, brah! I thought this was America!
User avatar #224 to #223 - zafara (07/18/2013) [-]
Well, this is FunnyJunk, apparently 'land of Zimmerman was right and Trayvon deserved to die because he attacked a white man.' Because that's what I've been seeing over the past couple days. Also 'land of lets show porn to 6th graders to expose them to real life'. I mean, I approve of sex ed, but that's a bit extreme to me.

#229 to #224 - cabbagemayhem (07/18/2013) [-]
I haven't heard anyone say Trayvon deserved to die because he attacked a white man. Zimmerman was in his rights regardless of skin color. Only your racism almost cost him his life.

You presumed a church was guilty without reason because "this is FunnyJunk," you called society racist for letting a white man defend himself, you're apparently against educating children about how their bodies work, even when it might be important. You're ****** up, and your name looks like a girls name!

User avatar #175 - yourbaus (07/17/2013) [-]
correct me if I'm wrong, but i thought one kilocalorie is equal to one dietary calorie, or 1 Calorie. That would mean agriculture could provide everyone with 2.7 Calories per day. You'd burn that walking up a set of stairs.
User avatar #198 to #175 - cumbersome ONLINE (07/17/2013) [-]
You're right, but you got your math wrong. 1 kcal = 1 dietary calorie (Calorie), so 2700 kcals = 2700 Calories. I think you're mixing up kcals and non-dietary calories (calorie). 2700 calories = 2.7 Calories. One kcal = 1000 calories, hence the "kilo".
User avatar #176 to #175 - mutantpanda (07/17/2013) [-]
You are correct, however it says 2730 kcals the comma was not a decimal point
