It's a little fuzzy when this happened, but let's say about 9 or so years ago me and a friend remember saving a small bird from the woods next to our neighborhood. I wanted to take care of it. I had a box, food, and water too. I was also ready to take up the task of walking to the library every other day to do some research on birds so I could hopefully take better care of it (birds are my favorite type of animal). But some girl from the neighborhood we knew decided that we were not capable of fulfilling the task of healing this bird. She kept bitching at my friend, our parents, and me. My parents eventually told us that we should listen to her. So we did as we had to do and give the bird for her to take care of.
A few days later she tells us she threw the "darn thing" back in the woods where we found it. I was ******* infuriated. Almost to the point where I wanted to hit her, but that's not how I roll. I looked for that ****** in the woods because I was upset. I had no idea where she left him so it resulted in me never finding it.

Mfw some full-of-herself-just-because-she-was-older girl essentially stole the bird I saved and let it out in the woods to die.

I would have screamed "YOU'RE AN IDIOT! HOW CRUEL CAN YOU BE?! INSTEAD OF LETTING US LET THE THING LIVE YOU JUST THREW IT OUTSIDE TO DIE?!" I would get yelled at by my parents though, I would not give to ***** , my parents would yell at her too.

I left out a few parts, but oh boy did we give her an earful. Our parents told her parents and she was punished somehow, so at least some justice was served. But not enough in my opinion.
