Of course it's an opinion. But it's not a popular opinion and it would be considered a guilty pleasure, hence - announcing it would be a confession.

what do you mean "not in my eyes".
Do you deny the fact that most of the Internet and especially FJ hate on F&F and Twilight, or do you think that sharing an opinion about anything, no matter how much most people will disagree and make fun of you, is not a confession?

I don't view it as a confession simply because anyone who gives two ***** about being ashamed of what they like is a god damn idiot and shouldn't care what others think. Love something because you love it, stop caring about other peoples opinions.

Regardless of how many people love or hate it, this thing belongs to you.
Viewing it as a "confession" is so egotistical and narcissistic you kinda deserve to get hated on for thinking the thing you love is so important in other peoples eyes that they have to hate on you. Just love whatever the **** you love, and get over it.

I'm gonna be debating this with you for a while, ain't I?

Wouldn't this be true for all "confessions". You defeat the purpose of the term in general, not in this particular case.

Is a confession not something you did wrong?
"I confess to this murder" or "Yes, it was me who took the last cookie"

Look, I see where you're coming from, but to me it's a silly thing.
I've just always viewed confessions as "Something a person has done wrong"
I can't see how an opinion like the ones in your content are "True confessions" but that's just me, man. My opinion on this shouldn't truly matter to you IF you're happy with your content. Enjoy your thumbs, man. I'm just gonna be sitting down here being red to death.

Well, actually I wanted to understand what you mean better and I think I finally get you.

But, if you don't mind, let's go a bit deeper.
When you "confess" for something that you did wrong, you're brave because this shows that you're ready to take the consequences.
Why can't this apply for having an unpopular opinion? You know that most people will disagree with you, but you nevertheless admit the fact and are ready to take the criticism. And you do this because just maybe you will meet some people that share your opinion. I'm not ashamed that I like F&F (true story), but I know if I try to defend it, I'll just meet hostility and will irritate some people. I recognize this and that's why I avoid talking about it. I don't view it as " so important in other peoples eyes that they have to hate on you".
P.S. You can't pull off that wall of text and expect to get off easy, sorry mate

Bravery comes in many forms, confessing what you did wrong is a moral sense of what's right and what's wrong, admitting something you like if that something is an unpopular opinion is bravery, but not in the same context. They are close to each other, but they aren't exactly hugging it out.

That's cool that you like F&F, I haven't seen the latest one, but cool.
I like the Twilight saga, may as well throw that out there due to what we're discussing. Sure if you try to defend these things you'll get met with hostiilty, but that's the internet. Everyone bitches at everyone for things they like.

P.S. I knew I couldn't, but worth a try. I'm also now gonna be dumping random images and gifs with every reply.

ok then, if it's not a "confession", what is it? And are we not just arguing semantics here?

P.S. I find the first Twilight hilarious (the faces man, the faces they made ) and the other 2 - just boring. And yeah, people bitch about everything, but there are some things that kind of unite them.

but you just said that it does require some kind of courage to admit. How do we differ it from announcing a safe "opinion" that we know most people will agree with?

I don't need a meme to be honest.

The first and third Star Wars prequels were good movies, and constantly ridiculing them doesn't make you seem more sophisticated.

And I did it all without a picture of a pussy ass bear.

The first things that come to mind when I think of story-based games are the Bioshock games and Portal games. The god of war games also do a good job of gameplay and story balance.
I swear Zelda had a pretty developed story, but then, I may be misinterpreting what you mean.

So, whats your favourite story based game then? Anyone can answer

I just recently played it and i'd call it meh at best. The game overall is kinda meh, apart from a few good parts. It tried too hard to be dark, but couldn't come close to majoras in that regard. Zelda was boring as ****, and i didn't like midna very much.

Pokemon isn't about the story if you're playing for story you're not playing i play competitively online i dont give a **** bout the story also mario isn't about story either its just a fun platformer like story is great but only in a game that is really about a story zelda i haven't played but never liked or hated so idk what its like now a campaign game is all about story but none of the games you listed are of that category. Please don't have an opinion

I don't know why people think that this comment will upset Doctor Who fans. It is an acquired

Calling the show (or especially the character) Dr. Who, bashing the old show (particularly the 60s) are more likely to cause anger

And the biggest fights come within the fandom itself
Canon, UNIT Dating, MOFFAT MUST GO, missing episodes... oh you don't wanna see some of those fights...
