The Witcher 2 is a fun game but for me it keeps crashing, I've played Fallout NV and that was good as well, you remind me that I should play the Witcher 1 also if you want to play GTA 4 multiplayer it's better to have other people that you can trust, at least a little, so you don't get gunned down if they get bored.

Oh it's nothing to do with the hardware, it's done the same to me on a far better computer, it crashes when I try to bring up the load menu while playing the game and it's getting annoying, though clearing out old saves seems to help. Also if you save some cash there are stores that offer price match or price match + an extra some odd percent off, I don't know if you're already doing that but if not you could save some cash if you do.

I don't know if your Canadian while Memory Express is Canadian it's a good example of some price beat/protection that other companies may also offer.

i buy the games because i support the developers...plus i know i will like the games....and why would i steal if i can easily access them through my steam...also i dont need to steal because i can afford to buy them

Piracy is not stealing, it is copying. And I support the developers as well, those that do not force DRM, key codes, forced internet connections, and other BS on me. A game is art, and art should be publically enjoyable. I will pay to go see an artists exhibit. But I won't pay every time I want to look at a print I bought.

you pay once for the game...then you can play it unlimited amounts of times...DRM for computers has been around for years, get over it. and most games only require an internet connection because they are multiplayer and/or are being accessed from your library...a game is art, but theres no free lunch, pay for what you play you pirate...and tell me how would you feel if you spent months and months working on something right? and you finally get it finished and went to go sell it to earn your income...and as you were selling it someone buys it, once. then gives away copies for free, to anyone and everyone. effectively cutting your sales meaning the amount of effort you put into making that piece of art is worth less than it could have been...a whole team of artists work on one game...so keep that in mind man...if you would pay to see a single artists work, once, then by that logic it would go to this as well.

But it doesn't, you pay every time you use that game. What kind of logic is "only paying once"? I upgrade my PC ever 6 months or so, and some DRM systems detect it as a WHOLE NEW PC. best example would be Crysis. I changed my video card, thats one key down. I changed my HD and flashed my old one to use in the new one. Thats a key code. To get another key would have cost me 19.99 PER ******* KEY for a game I already own. As for DRM "protecting" the artist, I have yet to see Kanye West or Steve Tyler begging on a street corner because of piracy. Enjoy your steam games. Oh wait, there is a storm and you lost internet? Sucks for you. I own my games, paid for or otherwise.
