actually everyone flipped **** over this, but its a valid metaphor. Could have said "Pixar's version of the Delorian from Back to the Future" and it would still be valid. He picked out a time machine that is well known and recognized

Te Deloreon was cinema's first time machine with Back to the Future being cinema's first real "time travel" movie. Yes, Doctor Who has been around for a lot longer, but Back to the Future was what brought time travel as a sort of subgenre to the movie world.

Plus, Doctor Who never picked up its real fan base until David Tenant for some odd reason. Before him, it was just...there...in the background. Meanwhile, Back to the Future became popular, and remained popular from its release to today. I mean hell, people are still giving way too many ***** over the date Marty McFly actually came to the future, which is nearing this time right now.

Essentially, it boils down to this:

Back to the Future- Provides a background for nearly all of time travel in cinema that people still talk about during the course of the entire movie.
Dr. Who- British people doing silly things, like referring to time as "wibbly wobbly."

Question: Do they actually go in depth of how time actually works in the show, or do they really just leave it as "wibbly wobbly?"

It does belong. The Pixar movies take place in different areas in space, and at different times. That truck is a constant. Exactly like the TARDIS. It was a fitting reference.

You don't have to enjoy it. The internet is a big place, and not everything is meant to cater to you personally. I don't throw a hissy fit every time Game of Thrones makes the front page. And referencing Doctor Who only on Doctor Who related pages is both boring and not in the spirit of the show. One of the big themes of the show is how the Doctor constantly changes the universe around him, so it's a lot of fun to speculate how he might've affected other universes. Also, Doctor Who fans are called Whovians.

If you read the whole article it's much more convincing.

Because people don't seem to like it, and to elaborate a bit on a simple note.

If Toy Story is mentioned in the first frame and was in the 14 most recent films, why wasn't it included?

Because they were child toys and really didn't do anything?

Talking child things that manipulated an entire garbage assembly line. Just because it wasn't as large scale as the other movies doesn't make it any less significant.

Welp this explained it better, buzz and woody just sat back and watched the world burn and it was the corporations that played a roll. "Toy Story 3. It’s stated that both corporations BNL (Buy-n-Large) and Allinol exacerbated this takeover by dominating both the market and eventually the government, leading to worldwide pollution that put humans at a disadvantage anyway. This goes into explaining the humanity-free Earths of both WALL-E and Cars. And it’s around this point that the highly evolved creatures from A Bug’s Life come into play, as their way of living very much mirrors of that of modern humanity, and there are references to the insects living longer lifespans."

This post is just a rough summary. Just yesterday I went through the whole theory and it fits toy story into the theory just fine. Sadly due to my habit of clearing my browser history on a nightly basis for reasons.

It actually is mentioned and the starting block of the whole thing. Read the whole article, it's much more detailed and convincing, and most of these holes are covered.

Nah man my bad I meant read the whole article that the guy who came up with this theory wrote. It's really in depth. and it of course includes toy story. This post was just like a basic summation of it. I thought they linked to it in the description. But I was wrong.
