In danish, they are called "gravhunde", which means "diggerdogs".

In Italy they're "bassotti" which means "lowies" (sounds like basset hound too, but they're different things). Fun fact, the "beagle gang", the one that fights with Uncle Scrooge, is the "banda bassotti"

In Cuba we call them "Salchichas" or "Perros de salchicha" which mean sausage dogs too.
