I don't think we should applaud him for this. People complain about society going downhill and then you have people who do **** like this get praised for doing it and make it seem like its an acceptable thing.

I honestly like his movies, and he has he right to do stuff like this and pay the price for it, but I hate people who glorify it and make it seem like it's a good to do.

I completely agree with you on this, but I'm pretty sure this is about his past life when he was doing all that **** . Now he is completely cleaned up and from what they say a pretty great guy.

Drugged driving is a problem no matter how you slice it.

I think we applaud him for getting off all those drugs and bad habits and becoming a successful actor.

who gives you the right to decide if that should be glorified or not? That's his lifestyle, and who are you to say yours is better because society says it is?

You uneducated sack of **** . Read before you bleed! ~implying I am beating him right now~

Mine is **** because I'm only out of the house when I have to be. Not even into my backyard.

The point is not about RDJ's life, but the people who glorify the bad things that he's done in his life.

I know what you're saying. Look at what we did with Charlie ******* Sheen, the man who assaulted women in hotel rooms and treated his kids in a way no father should. We put him on a throne and had Slash play guitar behind him so we could wheel him out in front of a crowd of celebrities being broadcast around the world to celebrate the man.

That sounds like hyperbole, but no, all that REALLY HAPPENED when Comedy Central decided to roast the ******* guy.

I don't condone it, but its pretty damn funny imagining that situation and the police officers face who pulled him over.

He's cleaned his act up, this was back when he was younger, he's now T-total. So he's an inspiration, he hit rock bottom and then made better of himself.
User avatar #151 to #9 - lyestcer (07/12/2013) [-]
Then that's a good thing. I honestly have no idea what he's done in the past, because I haven't had a reason to go and look it up.

But the thing is that OP made it seem like it was a cool thing to do, and that's what I don't agree with. The people I dislike aren't necessarily the ones doing it, just the ones who make it seem like its a good thing to do.

Yeah THAT'S admirable. The OP makes it sound that his horrible past is admirable though
#115 to #68 - mr skeltal (07/12/2013) [-]
how can OP make it sound admirable if he's just giving a basic description of what happened?
