Implying that her admitting this on Facebook is not enough evidence to prove that she fabricated the charge and if she testifies in court then she would be charged with perjury that has a maximum penalty of 5 years in prison.

Well lying under oath is punishable with 2-5 years imprisonment in american in Canada the maximum is 14 years. As for here charging him with rape she would have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he raped her. She has no witnesses and no evidence. If this is true story he should take a trial by judge over trial by jury are jury's are usually ********* when it comes to rape charges whereas judges seem to be more fair. She could also be charged with some minor offences such as wasting police resources that would also result in a fine.
