Libyan no fly zone.
NAFTA.
2.1 Billion in USAID development funds (for fiscal 2011).
Afghanistan:
Child Mortality has dropped. In 1970 they ranked 309 in infant mortality, 2011 109.
Raw numbers come out to a 47% drop.
Literacy is up 31% since 2002.
GDP is up 67% since 2002.
Life expectancy is up from 35 in 1970 to 49 in 2011.
Crude death rate has fallen from 29 deaths per thousand to 16 deaths per thousand.
Overall higher quality of life.
If we were so bad, would why do we have so many people literally dying to come to this country.
If you are an American citizen and you're hating, do something about. Don't be a bitch and say 'our government sucks' without any action. Not saying we are without fault, Iraq War was a big time boner, but all in all we do WAAAAY more for 3rd world countries and regions in crisis than ANYONE.

TL;DR version: **** ALL YOU HATERS.
PS bring on the red thumbs, I'm not afraid.

1940´s foreign affairs is not related to the foreign affairs of the modern day. It´s a fallacy at best. What happened back then is not a guarantee that it´s still like that in this decade.

Spongebob has many scenes where there is fire under water. I would say it's oil since that can be set on fire in water (i think) but that would be ON TOP of water, not physically in.

Did anybody else see man of steel?

SPOILERS BELOW

They "saved" the city after the giant ship blew up half of it. Then during the final fight scene they must have destroyed at least 6 office buildings. Do you have any idea how many people would have died?

Good god when they started to **** up the whole city I was dying. They wrecked so many buildings it was awful. I felt pain when he had the INFINITE VASTNESS of space to fight in and he chose to smash into a satellite that cost hundreds of millions to make and get up there, as well as later in the movie a U.S. drone. But I mean supaman could take their new satellites back up there and he could protect the U.S. by himself so I found some consolation in that.

City? They were saving the planet. The city just suffered heavy casualties like Smallville did. If Superman hadn't stopped Zod or if they hadn't stopped the World Engine, they would have had genocide on their hands. Either way, people were going to die; it's just that the final battle had less casualties.

That they did and I actually enjoyed that, oddly enough. The Avengers had IMPLIED deaths with only Coulson's being explicitly shown. Man of Steel? We SAW people go down and it felt more real; personally, the fact that people did die or destruction occurred on a huge level like that made me enjoy the movie more. It added a sense of danger, like there really was no way a battle between practically gods was going to end with no casualties. On my first viewing, I kinda did think Superman was going to lose due to the fact that the movie showed the villains actually DOING something and not being stopped in the nick of time.

tl;dr, people did die and I personally enjoyed that since it made the villains seem like villains rather than bad guys.

Yeah, I get what your saying but I've noticed out of all the conversations I've had via text, internet, phone, and letter...I haven't really gotten **** for it. I mean I talk about drugs and smuggling all the time on the phone and through text. I joke about killing the president and bombing **** up on multiple sites and I see many other people doing the same.

I've said and typed some ****** up stuff and people have always flipping their ******* **** and told me "YOU'RE GONNA GET A FBI PROFILE" Or sum ****..."They'll think you're a terrorist!!" And nothing has happened over the past five years that I've done that.

I haven't gotten a warrant for my arrest or a knock on my door from the FBI. I know they're always watching, of course but I don't think they're interesting in an average Joe like myself. You do have to remember that they have caught a lot of criminals through the internet, text, and phone but that doesn't justify them.

All I'm saying is that we still have freedom just not privacy...
