If you refuse to use the modern and practical reading device because it can't physically display all of your books and show people how literate you are, then you're a stupid **** .

personally, i prefer reading an actual book as opposed to an eBook... Something comforting about turning the pages. But I can see the benefit to owning an eBook. If you travel a lot, you're not going to want to pack dozens of books. Also, they're really great for getting kids who are reluctant readers to want to read more often.

It would be cool if they gave you a code similar to dvd's when you buy an actual book for the download of an e version of it for kindle or android or whatever.

Ebooks are the future, efficient and simple. OP I feel like you just don't like change, word to my ***** Stewie. But don't worry books will still be around because ebook's battery life is not like a books battery life, because a book doesn't need a battery, you see. Until we invent an ebook with battery life that keeps going and going, word to the Energizer Bunny, ebooks and books will be the topic of convo for people who like to read. I like the arguments, Ebook vs Books is the new Christian vs Athiest and it's entertaining.
#254 to #241 - anonymous (07/08/2013) [-]
The only difference is you can use both books and ebooks, but you cannot be Christian and Atheist.

An e-book's books are virtual, therefore, don't use paper, so less trees are chopped down to make paper for books. It's more eco-friendly have an e-book, besides, you can borrow a book you are reading to another person and still have it for your own
besides it can be free
