I agree, the ability to be almost invisible is much more impressive than a e book.

Implying that the purpoise of owning books is to impress other people and not to read for your own pleasure or knowledge.

And never in anyone's life had a bookcase actually got anyone laid. People are not impressed of a ******** of paper, you ******* bouthbreather.

I have both.
I got an e-reader for 5 reasons.
1)Sometimes, its more practical for me to have a 0.5 pound device than the entire GOT series. Or whatever series I am reading at that moment
2)My asshole stepfather made me get rid of 3/4ths of my book collection. An e-reader keeps that nonsense from happening again
3)Books on a Kindle are far cheaper than a normal paperback or hardcover. I've gotten my money back on the 80$ I spent on my Kindle in the money I've saved on books.
4)Its more convenient to buy books on a Kindle. I read more now that I can get a book and forgo the 10 mile drive to the book store and the 10 mile drive back.
5) Its easier to hide erotic novels on an e-reader

owning a person is indeed impresive

Know what's more practical? Having all those books, and more, available at the press of a button on a device that's a quarter inch thick. Also, let's say there's a fire, your books burn up. Tough **** .

If an e-reader is destroyed, you can get everything back from your account on a new one.

User avatar #69 - edforce (07/08/2013) [-]
If you're gonna buy books for the sole purpose of it looking "impressive"... Well you're just a faggot.

I want books to come with an online code so that you can download them to kindle once you bought them as a physical book.
