I like being the "does 99% of the work" guy. I don't trust people enough to let them do something that my grade depends on. This ****** somethimes my only chance for a decent grade in some classes.

Depending on the subject/project, I was either the 99% person for the same reasons you mentioned, or the one who said they would help but don't. Being the 99% person allows you to see other 99% people and if I wasn't really sure about what to do or didn't really understand the subject then I knew I'd be more of a hindrance than a help. I'd really just talk about the subject to try and better understand it, and help if asked by the 99% person.

I'm the same way, it's really great when my best friend and I get pared up because she is the same way so we split it fifty fifty and it doesn't bug me because I trust her. Oh and she has a knack for getting the other group members to actually do their god damn work through a mix of threats on their lives and and incessant nagging. I don't mind her nagging because I'm never on the receiving end of it.

I especially hate it when they tell me to do nothing when I'm the only guy who know's how to do the project right.
then the teacher gives me a 0 for not participation

In English class we had to write a short horror story over the course of a class period, 1 hour and forty minutes.
I've worn plenty of creative writing awards, was making great grades in English, and helped revise a script for a play.
They didn't want my input, and wouldn't put my name on the story. When we had to turn it in at the end of class, we were the last group to be called up to turn it in, so I waited for all of them to go sit down, and I snuck my name onto the very top of the page.

I'm the guy who tries to help but my group members always say things like, "you're not in our group" or "stop following us kid."

I'm the guy that's willing to do all the work, but not the presentation. Public speaking blows.

I'm the guy that did all the research, brainstorming, typing, and the presentation while my group was out smoking weed, playing basketball and hitting on girls. **** middle school. I was also the guy who got blamed for my group being a bunch of lazy bitches. Did I also say **** middle school?

I remember having to do a group project with people everyone knew were lazy and did jack-all, teacher included. I asked to be put with another group, but the teacher said I had to deal with it. Come the day of the project's presentation, I was the only person that did anything. Nobody else in the group even stood up, when we had to present it. At the start of the presentation, I said "My group doesn't appear to have prepared, so I will do this by myself." I would have gotten an A, but the teacher said my comment hurt one of the group member's feelings (********, they were all assholes), so she marked my grade down to a B. What the ****.

I am the guy who does all of the work, and the presentation. After the project is done though I always tell the teacher about my group and how they never lifted a finger even though I asked them to. Long story short. I get an A. They get a D. Or something like that.

Ain't nobody going to use my smartiness for their advantage.

Sometimes a good for nothing group can come in handy because you can do everything your own way.

That's actually true. And if there's something they don't like you can just say ''Okay, so you do it then'' and there you go!

I gets group like this all the time, they just sit there and watch, might hand me the book or something then say they helped.
I usually just ask to do this individually because it's going to be faster.

This is so relateable. One time our class was making a school play, and I was put at the manuscript group. We wasted 4 classes thinking about what the plot was going to be, and we made roughly 4-5 characters.
Then, our teacher helped us out, but we had to type lines and things like that on google docs.
Guess who wrote the entire ******* script all by himself? That's right, me. Not only did I write all of the lines, I also had to make 6 new characters, and I had to make every goddamn character have some sort of character-developement. I did all of this **** at home, two days before it was due. What did I get? Yes, a guy in the group said that** "[I] didn't let the others do anything,"** and that "the script is ******".

i've actually been in groups where everyone put in approximately the same amount of work, and never any situation like what the content describes.
