Firstly it is the stupid ****** who failed first. When a dog gets hit by a car you don't blame the motorist for driving. You blame the dog's owner for not probably locking up their animal. That ****** ******* parked his car with all his windows down playing his crappy rap music loud enough to be heard on the police radios. Then he gets out to watch with his dog, while the music is still playing. Would love to see a large dog come barking at any of these animal rights pussies and see how fast they **** themselves.

A police officer could save a kid from a burning building and some how people will find a way to accuse him of being a corrupt pig that abuses his power

Being a police officer really is a thankless job, I have no idea why I want to be one

Yeah because all police officers are extremely sane and totally not corrupt. A cop gets respect and appreciation once he earns it, not for simply being a cop, faggot.

The dog wasn't exactly showing hostile behavior anyways

There are two different vids that I saw. The one that is about 3 minutes long is the one cut specifically for the Facebook users who are mostly ignorant with the " **** the police" attitude. The second vid shows how the guy was just driving by and he had no reason to stop and film other than wanting to "express his freedom to do so and sticking it to those pigs". They asked him to lower his music because they claimed it interfered with their ability to communicate during an investigation, he didn't comply.

I agree with one thing though. There was a point where the dog was just sniffing around. At that moment he should have been left alone. You can see the shooting cop take a small step forward. And that's when the dog jumps at him. And that's when he shoots him. A taser would have sufficed in that situation. Was he wrong in defending himself, hell no. Could he have chosen another way to deal with the situation. Probably yes. This is coming from someone who works in law enforcement.
User avatar #84 to #77 - ecomp (07/06/2013) [-]
>implying the weapon in hand was a taser

the **** you saying.
User avatar #90 to #85 - ecomp (07/06/2013) [-]
"a taser would have sufficed in that situation"
He probably didn't have a taser with him, and he had a gun in his hands. If a dog lunges at you and you have a gun in your hands, you don't think "Oh, I should probably switch to my taser before I fire", you just ******* shoot.
User avatar #114 to #90 - psychodreadnought ONLINE (07/06/2013) [-]
Most police officers have tasers on them. he could have had that at hand if he so chose, he had no right to kill that dog.
