The only one that is actually legal to put in a contract is #9. It's actually a health code violation to eat or drink in a restaurant kitchen.
#20 is something companies will actually do for certain occupations like being a company's lawyer or accountant because they don't want information being bought from or leaked by you. This is for big business companies like apple with a lot of secrets when it comes to creating products, but for a restaurant, this is just insane.
Trust me, just look at my name.

thank you! I knew #9 wasn't totally crazy.
#20 is correct to a certain extent. I work for a grocery store chain and cannot as an employee work for a similar kind of business at the same time (I can't take up a second job at another grocery store/bakery - under something called conflict of interest). As far as I know I can open my own ****** little grocery store after leaving such and such job, or work at another establishment. I just can't do both at the same time. Con

actually, DNC clauses are very common in food service places. Recipies and exact MoP are pretty tightly guarded.n And the bag thing is more common than you might think

That makes sense for chefs, but not busboys.
No one, not even the police are allowed to search your private areas (Car, Home, Purse, Anus) without your consent or, in the police's case, probable cause/warrant. That term in the contract is void, even if you sign it.
It's different for high priority areas like airports, judicial buildings and the White House because people tend to always try and wreak havoc in those places.

Ah, that's true. :l If you see this in a contract, walk away I guess.
