I used to do something similar to this where I would cut a circle out of the center of the bread and then break the egg in there and fry that up. The parts that were cut out would be buttered and treated as sides. But this style of doing it seems much more interesting and flavorful. Will try soon, thanks

We made those in a Family Life Resource class this year, it was called a "Toad in the hole" or at least at our school.

Yeah evidently it has like 10 different names. My half-brother showed it to me a couple years back and he called it a breadegg so that's just what I grew accustomed to calling it.
