I need help deciding on the next anime to watch. I've watched all the ones I've found that looked interesting. Please throw suggestions at me.
No tragedies. No pathetic and mentally weak main character, I prefer (mentally) strong characters who have moments of weakness to (mentally) weak and pitiful characters who have moments of strength.
I'm not really expecting much, but It's been awhile since I found an anime I truly enjoyed watching.

Hey Im just wondering, is Girls Und Panzer worth watching? Saw the first episode, and it was interesting, but so are the first episodes of most anime. Thanks. Also, will be using this list to expand what I've seen.

Yes I have, It was fairly interesting at first but it stalled after a few episodes when the main character wasn't really doing much except watching everything happen. I'm still planning to watch it, just haven't really felt like it recently if that makes any sense.

It makes total sense i felt the same way when i watched it. It gets a lot better after a while. Have you tried Detective Conan (Case Closed for the English release)? That is my favorite anime.

Heard of it, looked at it, never picked it up. Nothing wrong with it, just nothing about it really stood out. I might take another look.

The fillers were too much to deal with in Bleach and after episode 50 or so of Naruto I just read the Manga instead. I read both Bleach and Naruto up to the current chapters about six months ago, might binge through the ones published since then in another month or two.

Monster, kind of similar. More of a mystery drama. Mushishi is a good one. Sadder than Elfen Lied, but still really good. Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (When They Cry)
A great psychological murder mystery series. I'm sure you've seen Yu Yu Hakusho but that is probably my top favorite anime. There was one I used to watch when I was a kid. Technically not anime, as it was made in Canada, but had the anime style. I can't recall much of it now, just that I watched it religiously when I was like 14 or so, so it's at least ten years old. Hope this helps!

Ahh. Well, the next episode of the spinoff Akito the Exiled comes out sometime this summer, if you werent aware
Perhaps Deadman Wonderland? It has some pretty kickass action (if you can get past the main character's prepubescent voice)

Ohhh yes. I was ecstatic that they chose to revive the series (in a way that didn't shame the original) and my only complaint with Akito is the spaced out airing schedule. D:
As for Deadman, I have to confess to not finishing the first episode because of the voice but I suppose I will have to give it another go!

Never made it past the first 10 episodes, the kid following them around just ruined it for me. It made the series just a bit too childish and silly to be watchable. Thanks for the suggestion though!

It gets a lot more mature and powerful from around episode 13 and up. Some really sad parts, and really bad ass parts. Some things that just dont even make sense, ect. Drama, action, love interests, everything. The ending is what really hits home, if you've grown to love the characters.

I can see how it got boring around there, but episode 100 isn't even far into the Alabasta arc, which is the first major saga. I'm on episode 543 so obviously I'm completely hooked, and in case you're wondering, the show is designed to mature with its audience, so the themes and plot events grow darker or more hard-hitting if that makes sense. I recommend giving it another try. If not then oh well, at least you got to 100

I've used most of those. Sometimes random people suggesting Animes works better than extremely limited "anime finders" and I've already flipped through most all of the "if you liked this anime you will like this one too" pages. Thanks anyways though.

Extremely limited? I fail to see how several sites worth of anime databases is limited.
And anime plural is anime, not animes.

The tools on those sites to find anime that interest me are limited. I did specify that it was the "anime finders" that were limited and not the content of the sites. And I can't say I care much for the proper way to spell out it's plural form, as a lack of difference between the singular and the plural forms is a failure on the part of the English language.
