I feel like I'm going to throw up, knowing that we send young men to Afghanistan for no reason.

He was an Explosive Ordinance Technician. There to keep IED's off the streets for not only his fellow troops but other innocent bystanders. Wouldn't exactly say it was for no reason

We sent him there to secure our Oil supply.
It wasn't for no reason.

It's a ****** reason, yes.
But still a reason.

1. Afghanistan doesn't have much oil.
2. We don't get hardly any oil from the middle east, what we don't produce ourselves we mainly import from the wild and untamed lands...of Canada and Norway.

Or, you know to fix the mistake they made of supporting and putti g into place a very cruel and terrorist supporting regime, and to retaliate against the culprits of 9/11

Yeah, that mission has been accomplished.
Now it's just for securing Oil reserves.

You want to attack Saudi-Arabia?
Sure, i would support this.

The us did not put the Saudi king in his place. They did do that with the Mujahadeen (now known as the Taliban). Saudi Arabia also has much more oil than Afghanistan. Sure some of the terrorists were Saudi, but the Taliban were the ones that wholeheartedly supported them and offered the organization sanctuary

lol, "some"

15 of 19 9/11 terrorist were Saudis, the others were arabs too, all of them connected to the Saudis. The Taliban would not have existed without Saudi islamism, ideology and figureheads.

For obvious reasons Saudi Arabia was spared, not even diplomatic sanctions were decided. As you said yourself: oil and money.

I'm pretty sure that the Saudi king and his government does not openly support al Qaeda like the Taliban does/did. Also, islamistism (radical islam) doesn't soley come from Saudi Arabia, I comes from all Islamic nations.

Also, when you completely support and put into place a government that turns out to be very cruel and anti-human rights, you tend to want to fix it

i guess "does not openly support" is the key.
just sit back and wait a few more years.
i srsly hope the oil will run out or that entire energy source will be replaced. this country needs to be cut off its influence.

As many people have already said, you don't get much oil from the middle east. Most of it comes from your own country or up here in Canada. However I do agree that the american government does seem to support the saudis a bit too much
