Incoming red thumbs, I'm gonna rant.

Am I the only one whose getting kinda annoyed by america now. I mean come on, what the guy said was a joke. It's gaming talk, not some terrorist talk. You hear worse talk on 4chan and even funnyjunk yet no one bats an eye. And what the **** is some bitch in canada doing looking up this kids address. It's like anyone can find out where you are even if they only have your name. So much for the security in the land of the free (Obvious sarcasm)

But come on america, I'm american and even I'm starting to get sick of this **** .

We've gone from a nation that gets involved in everyone's affairs and talks **** to anyone to a nation that's scared to get its own people offended and is probably scared of its own shadow. We shouldn't be the mother that tries to oversee what every other nation is doing and get involved. HELL, we can't even solve our own problems because we use lazy, slacking, retarded politicians that could give two ***** about that people and only care about the money in his/her pockets.

Tlr, America needs to get its **** together.

"But a Canadian woman who saw the post looked up Carter' s Austin address, determined that it was near an elementary school, and called the police"
Also a few points;
-Texas has been doing stupid **** since forever; they tried to outlaw critical thinking because it undermines religious belief
-The scandal a few weeks ago about a bill
-They're pretty separate from the U.S.
-It's EXTREMELY hard to get involved in a nation that's religiously, politically and morally separated, not to mention the U.S is ENORMOUS.

American reporting in, and I couldn't agree with you more. As a kid, I was very patriotic and loved this country. But as time took its course, it made me hate this place more and more.

I'm just going to vent some of my rage with you since it's relevant. I live in America. It is the eve of the 4th of July. There are explosions everywhere, rockets whizzing, colors shooting around. I have a few sparkler things, you know, tiny **** that spins and fizzles out. I light off two in a concrete road when no cars are there and pick up the remains and literally have a cop drive up to me and 'suggest' I go home if I know what he means. All the while children down the road are shooting fireworks at each other. I'm hating it here too with all the ******** control that's going on. America is not free anymore in the slightest.

It's law the amendments are being taken away piece by piece, and no one seems to take a second glance.
User avatar #34 to #33 - flemsdfer (07/04/2013) [-]
It's not really no one taking a glance. More of what are you gonna do about it? One guy with a briefcase can wipe out the town I live in with a little drone in a day. There's such a hard on for gun control you can't get a puny little pistol with more than two mags. They have bullet proof humvees with remote controlled turrets so they don't even have to expose themselves as defense. Our military is just too damn powerful and massive four our population to rise up against it.
#171 to #34 - anonymous (07/04/2013) [-]
Our military isn't going to fight our citizens.
User avatar #173 to #171 - flemsdfer (07/04/2013) [-]
Not all of them, no. They are still people though and people can be monsters. With a military as large as ours if you took out all the good sensible people and left in the ones that'd do it just to kill or keep their lifestyle. I'm still predicting very sizable numbers with equipment the give one man the power to take down a whole militia.
#177 to #173 - anonymous (07/04/2013) [-]
Our military isn't even a million strong less that 2% being actual combat troops, now let's say even 10 percent of americans decide to fight, that's a 30 million man army plus defectors from the military and their equipment, we could attack with sticks and win.
User avatar #179 to #177 - flemsdfer (07/04/2013) [-]
Today's fighting seems to be mostly drone strikes though. Unmanned planes to shoot rockets down on cities. I would assume they'd use those if they ever decided to quell the local populace
#182 to #179 - anonymous (07/04/2013) [-]
Drone strikes are reknowned for causing collateral damage, the only place you'd be able to use them would be extremely rural places, after a few civilians get blown the **** up that's just going to increase the resistance.

We don't need to literately fight all we need is someone who is smart enough and brave enough to stand up, and we need to back him up. someone like snowden, that has enough knowledge of the law to use it against the governement. of course you are right this won't happen without something similar to a civil war, which will be everyone against big business who is fine with what they have. I mean **** doesn't it say in the constitution if the people believe the government is overstepping its boundaries it is the duty of the citizens to stand up against it? its just that no one wants to in fear of being eliminated and ostracized
