There are people like me and my friends who use it sparingly in an obvious joking manner, and then there are the people who blatantly use it to degrade blacks out of hate. The people who are afraid to say it aren't racist either, they're just scared to say it and be politically incorrect.

I can't stand the hypocrisy in the word ****** . You can't delegate language to certain groups, it has to be all or nothing. Kids and adults hear the word all the time in music, movies, and video games. But are prosecuted when they use it themselves strictly because they are not the right race.
If the term is truly horrid enough to warrant the outrage it's use brings, then it shouldn't be used by anyone at anytime.
You can't pick and choose who uses language, it won't work.

Instead of calling someone ****** , you can just say black.

But maybe thats just me

I think the purpose behind using the word is more important than the word itself.

If a person is using the word to be derogatory or offensive, then any word can be be as bad as ****** . But someone can also use the same word in a friendly or joking manner and it's okay.

The same way women can use the word "bitch" interchangeably depending on what they're trying to imply is the same way I can say " ****** / ***** " and not be called a racist asshole.

I am a firm believer that there is a difference between a black person and a ****** . Black people are generally good at contributing to society, ******* are just overall obnoxious leeches.

Well then I think you are completely wrong. If you are afraid you might offend someone that doesn't make you racist it makes you compassionate. You actually think about what you want to say before you say it, which is a feature too many people (and many racists) lack. On the other side people who aren't afraid to say it, are either very confident in their surroundings (people, place, etc) or are just ignorant assholes, and most likely it is the latter.

I don't agree with ideology with how the word ****** is used in todays society, thats why I don't say it.

Okay, so I'm Jewish (by culture, not by religion) but my whole life I would make Jewish jokes, and then I noticed no one else would, they would make black jokes or Mexican jokes, but never Jewish ones, so I asked them what was up. They told me that I was the only one who could make those jokes since I had the fortune of having the tip of my dick snipped off when I was 7 days old. I told them that they were a bunch of politically correct douche bags. My whole point of this is, if you cant say something to the person its intended for, then don't say it. If you wouldn't say ****** in front of a bunch of black people, then you have no right to say it at all. If you can't call me a kike, then you have no right to say it to others.

I think people who are afraid to jump in front of a car hate cars more than people who sleep in the middle of a highway.

I'm half black and my black mother has a college education and is a registered nurse, my white father does not have anything past a high school diploma and did manual labor most of his working life. However, in Colleton County, SC you can obviously see how the majority of black people act and its downright ****** , some of them however show the capacity to operate like a decent human beings. Those people help me not feel ashamed of my african heritage. On top of all that I hear more white people say the word ****** in jokes and such as opposed to black people actually saying it.
I personally think this whole Paula Dean fiasco is so stupid and is born of ignorance. Any black people who are offended by something like this probably also think that the "white man" still owes them because of slavery.
