Because you totally know what being an athlete is like.

Well, it's probably the principle of the matter. For example, if there were no fines, people would be on the field a lot more and slow games down and possibly interfere.

Theyre paid millions of dollars to play a game. They'll be ok.

Dude, it's the college world series. They're all college students, playing for their school. They don't get millions of dollars.

College athletes aren't paid...
Sure they usually get scholarships and preferential treatment, but they aren't paid "pretty much the same" as millions of dollars.

if they're playing for colleges and making the college world series, i'm sure their scholarship money that their schools are giving them is good enough.

Not the poor athletes! Can we start a donation or something to help them through these troubled times?

Oh no! Whatever are those poor poor athletes going to do? I suppose they could wait about 5 minutes to keep playing. That really wouldn't be all that bad would it? I mean, this girl is really dumb for having it all over the internet, but it is still pretty funny...

Kinda gonna side with the hundreds of people that showed up and paid good money to watch a game and not have it interrupted by people taking "selfies" on the field.

You're saying you wouldn't be entertained watching a bunch of dumb teenage girls think they are being cute and funny get tackled by security and detained? I would love to have gone to that game...

This guy is right. I'm a season ticket holder and if some asshole ran on the field and interrupted the game I pay good money to watch, I'd be pissed.

For perspective, imagine if someone was talking in the movie theater and they had to pause the movie every time they talked. Pretty annoying right? Or when you go see your favorite band in concert and someone storms the stage and the band has to stop mid song?

Well this would be one of the most entertaining things to ever happen in baseball, so I would say you should hope it happens more so you actually get your money's worth.

One of the most entertaining things in baseball would be your team winning the World Series on a grand slam, three runs down in the twelfth inning. That is not equivalent to three bitches running on to the field waving cell phones, stopping the game, and watching them get dragged off in their own little world of personal internet glee.

Well, i'm into science. The way I see it, you are interested in which group of apes is the apiest on a mote of dust whirling around an unimpressive star in an unimpressive galaxy, whereas i'm interested in the entire universe.

I've gone to plenty of sports games and this has happened to me ONCE. It was funny as ****, and everyone was hollering and laughing at the people running on the field.

If you seriously get pissed off about this you need to lighten the **** up. You're at a sports game, some stupid bitch ran on the field and got caught. It's pretty funny.

The only time I've found it funny was when I went to Cardinals camp and a toddler ran on the field. I found it funny because he was an innocent toddler that just wanted to meet players and he didn't know any better. Plus, everyone booed security, myself included. I've been at Diamondbacks games where people have ran on the field and it was funny then because those just happened to be pointless late season games when they were eliminated from the postseason and they were being blown out. This is the College World Series, tickets aren't exactly cheap. It's hosted in Omaha Nebraska, outside of Cornhusker football, they don't have a lot to look forward to sports wise.

My bad, I wasn't aware that it was the college world series. That DOES make it different.

I'm not a huge baseball fan, I kinda just go to Giants/A's games whenever I can, but yeah if it was like a super bowl it'd be pretty ******* stupid to watch someone run on the field.

Did you even read the post?

College. World. Series.

They're paying to attend the school to play the game, not the other way around.
