Depending on the weight of the engine it's fairly possible... tricky deadlift with really bad form.

I'm willing to bet that thing is at least 400lbs so yeah I'm fairly amazed.

That's like, 150-400 pounds. That's about 6 months of lifting depending on bodyweight.

That's an LS platform engine, 450~ pounds less dressing (accessories and brackets). Were it a cast iron block of the same platform it would be around 550-600 pounds depending on which engine it was.
