These are actually pretty crappy. There are smaller lasers in the 2 and 3 watt ranges now that are built better and are cheaper.

I have also built my own 3 Watt but it isnt as pretty/power friendly/ cool (temperature)/ didnt have a lightsabre option/ and didnt double as a night stick

“Under no circumstances should they be on sale on the internet,” said Mr. Colton, director of Lucid Optical Services, which offers technical training and consultancy in fiber optics and laser safety
