engineering is hard as ****. I majored in engineering my first two semesters in a really good engineering school in nyc, I finished the year with a 1.2 gpa. Im going to community college now.

you may have been selling your school a bit there...

yeah i mean i went to a joke of a high school in westchester county. All these kids in my engineering classes knew so much already from taking engineering classes in HS and I was sorta behind to begin with.

dont worry about that, Ive never taken engineering class in my life. I got a C in calc1 and chem 1, but then last semester I got my **** together and got a B- in Calc2 and a B+ in chem2

1.2gpa? Lets do alittle math here friend.
Say you had 7 classes each semester, 7 multiplied by two for two semesters is 14 okay.
14*1.2=16.8
We are assuming the point system is:
A=4 B=3 C=2 D=1
So with that we can assume that you got 3-C's and 11-D's.
Why the **** were you getting 11-D's and 3-C's for?
Its not easy I understand but when youre failing that badly you should have done something 11-D's best case senario first semester you got three C's and four D's and you didn't think you had to fix something?

no one takes 7 classes, it's impossible. Most people take 4, 5 is a stretch. 6 is almost unheard of

it was me who wrote the anon comment, i just made an account. I took 5 classes the 1st semester. got a C+ in ethics, B in religion, a D in physics, a C+ in into to engineering, and I dropped calc because I was failing and I decided to drop it so the F wouldnt count and I would re-take it. The 2nd semster I retook calc and got a C, an F in college writing, an F in engineering computation, a C- in sports history, and a D in chemistry.

What kind of engineering were you taking that had you take religion and sports history?

it was civil, and you needed a history credit (sports history) and a religion credit because it is a catholic school

I understand Calc dpending on the school they make calculus extremely difficult to weed out people. but Ethics a C come on you weren't trying very hard. I am civil engineer at Texas A&M by the way
