I know I'm really not caught up on current events. Anyone want to explain exactly what happened between Snowden and the US government for me?

he released a bunch of info that the NSA has been stockpiling for a long time (phone records, internet history, etc) and the fact that they do stockpile info and has a bunch more information he could release and the government wants him back from Russia where he went to lie low to try him for treason
not too many other countries seem to care a whole lot
(at least, that's how I understand it)

Hmmm... So Russia really has him? (I don't really watch TV. Or read the news. You can manipulate all that too hard.) I thought like "What if Russia doesn't have him, but because they don't like America they just say "Yeah... he's here... somewhere... I SWEAR!" so that doesn't look where he really is." I for once would like him to be here in Germany. I too don't really tolerate most of the **** America is into (Exeptions not included. I'm speaking mostly of the so called bible belt people and the government. Also the CIA, FBI and so on. (I love NCIS and NCIS L.A, but theres American propaganda everywhere. Like all this "Yeah... I could totally send you to a place where your rights as a human beeing is worth **** if you don't tell us what we want to know" and then everyone is okay with it... dafuq? ))

Yeah. I don't like firearms, thats why I try to avoid Nestle products. But goddamnit those ******* own like every big german food producers.
I don't really like our politicans either, but if I look at other countries I'm more or less glad we have the politicans we have and not those that they have. I mean no country is perfect, but some could really start to pull themselfes together. I mean look at us. About 70 years ago we lost a war that we started about 80 years ago. We gased, shot and otherwise killed and tortured people because one austrian lunatic /who didn't make it to his favourite school or the austrian army) thought we should. Germany was destroyed and divided. Our grandparents, great grandparents and great great grandparents build this country anew as soon as they saw any chance to do so. Whenever one of the Allies lost interest in something or gave them a part of the country back, then there were people who used this to make a totally new Germany. It's also cool, that Britain and America didn't take everything of their compensation. Otherwise we would still be in the middle ages over here. And now we are one of the few countries who are somehow able to manage our ****. I mean. we complain about our 5-6% unemploiment rate, but the only EU-country that has less unemploied people is Austria. I just don't get, why (mostly German) people don't feel proud to be a part of this country. I mean WW II was inexcusable and the German people that hold responsibility or just like lived here and did nothing (there were many many people that did something. And I don't mean just the persons who are famous for it now. Many people were hiding other people and riked their lives for them. But it's not like I voted for Hitler.

Well there were many unrelated things in this, but I had the flow and thought some of the things have to be told. I for myself would like to live in Sweden. Sweden is cool. When I can get a hold as writer, then I'll move to Sweden.
