And this ladies and gentleman is the root cause of why we see these feminism posts pop up so much.

It is because young males are being told they do not stand at equal footing to women, that the law will always be against them and that they are even responsible for the actions of the female sex.

It is, simply put, injustice that people are fighting against. We saw it a few months ago with the whole "******" thing. Then it was the inequality when dealing with minorities and now its deal with the inequality when dealing with the female sex.

Because truth be told, and most seem well aware, the only discrimination that is still going on (on a large, nationwide scale across the western world) is against straigth, white, males. Who are the supposed "priviledged".

You completely failed to grasp the context. Let me try again.

Women who want a kid know their role in having the child. As in, bearing the child. They know what they must do, and they accept that because they want the child.

Well for one that's not exactly equal. Whoever gets the second half of the term has to carry a larger baby, and actually has to give birth to it. First half is easier, and therefore not equal. But again, a woman who wants a child knows and accepts her responsibility.

Secondly, so long as there exists a differentiation between the two genders physical makeup. There will never be real equality. The only gender equality that can actually even be attempted is within society, because it's something we have control over because we created it.

Well truthfully that wasn't even part of my consideration. Would it still be consensual, if she doesn't want the child?

Either way, the reason I didn't think of it, is probably because I would never ask for a child myself. It really should be her decision. Given the amount of work I don't actually have to do, I'd feel like a dick for making her go through something like that if I'm the only one that wants it.

That's not the point. In this scenario, neither parent wants the kid. Either the birth control failed or they didn't use any. They're both responsible for the creation of this child and it isn't fair to force either of them to have it if they don't want it.

As it is now men have no say in the pregnacy which is just as wrong. Two drunk individuals **** from that point on all of the control is in the hands of the woman. She has options of the pill, to abort (depending on state) or to carry the baby to term. The man has no options and is at the mercy of the woman but we are held financially responsible for some of the choices which are the women's alone. The woman should have freedom of choice, the man should in no way be responsible for any choices the woman makes on her own. Post sex all of the power is with women yet men carry equal responsibility for the choices made solely by those women that is unfair.

My point is that the male and female partners don't have the same say in it all. Before and during the conception, they both neglected to use contraception so they are both at fault. However, after that, it's entirely the woman's decision. If she wants to keep or abort the baby, **** what the guy thinks. I believe that to make a fair situation of this, men should have the option to relinquish claim to the child, not needing to pay child support. If the man doesn't want the child, and there is still a way of terminating it that the woman is choosing not to do, the burden should all be on her. The woman should not be permitted to force it onto him as well.

The woman gets that choice because flat out you can't cut something out of another person against their will. I think it's plenty fair to everyone to just not get into the mess to begin with for your own sake. Wear a condom not because "it's just as much her responsibility" but rather for "I don't want kids". If she doesn't get an abortion for whatever reason she still has the burden of taking care of a child now. As the other party, you helped make said child and whether you want it or not. If it was suddenly so easy as to just drop all financial burden could you imagine the consequences? No man would use a condom ever because most side with it feels better and they'll never get any kids to burden them out of it since they can just bow out. STD's would spread more from this too. It just seems like chaos. Why can't we just all wear our own protection and maybe take our time to find out if some girl is a psycho bitch or not?

You get the option to wear a damn condom before hand if you do not want kids, yes it's not 100% effective but that's your own goddamn gamble. You have the ability to get a vasectomy as well. Something common, quick, and pretty damn safe in today's modern medicine.

What you don't get, is the option to cut something out of another person's body. It is not your baby until it pops out. Until then it is her own bodily growth that is physically attached to her. You'd flip **** if women forced you to have your testicles removed so this argument is absolute ********.

while I respect this opinion, I do wonder about what if the condom breaks or fails. I realize that 99 out of 100 times, they are perfectly effective, but say the male wears a condom, the female is not on the pill, and by some random happenstance the encounter results in a pregnancy. Say that the female chooses to keep the baby even though the male would rather her use plan B or get an abortion, and just for argument sake lets say he even offered to pay for the abortion/pill, but the female refused. Should the baby still be the male's financial burden? He did everything to protect himself, wore a condom and even offered to pay for the abortion/pill. For that type of circumstance, I feel the situation should be evaluated and a judge deem whether or not the male should have to pay child support. If he was being as careful as possible, there should be no reason for him to have to support a child he did not want or intend to have.

If he wasn't being careful (i.e. no condom) then he should absolutely have to pay child support.

Wear. A. Condom.

That's your option. Protect yourself if you just want casual sex. So is a vasectomy like I said. You just want to ignore your options and put the entire thing on her, then whine and say you have no options and try and get your strings into her to control her how you want which just isn't gonna happen.

If a little piece of rubber on your dick is too far out a concept for you then either A) quit having sex (I really recommend this one for you) or B) be prepared to support your children.

You forgot the part where:
>Not all women like condoms
-some find it irritating
-some get rashes from condoms
-some get hurt by the plastic
-some merely like sex with no condom
-a condom is unavailable but nearby and as the man is ready to begin his journey to buy one, the woman will refuse because she is in heat
>It's not a matter of "INTELLIGENCE" as to whether a man knows how to put on a condom
>Women will "trick" men into condomless sex in order to become impregnated and put the man in a financial trap
>Most men would have no problem with the consequences of condomless sex if they were fair, that is, if a woman wants to keep the child, she should keep it at her own expense and not that of the man.

Using your logic one can as fairly say:
Because you HAVE to sue me for all my money for 18 years right? Because I HAVE to pay child support right? Because you HAVE to be a bitch and **** up my life for 18 years for something we were both equally involved in?
There's a difference between responsibility and unfairity. Both parties are playing a fair game and both should be held equally responsible. One one-night-stand (which mind you, the typical person in heat is never thinking straight. Much like the "Crime of Passion" plea), should not mean that the man has to suffer 18 years of continious legal payments, while the woman, presumably worry free is allowed to raise the child, marry another man and carry a job without giving the man any money, and taking the mans' money. It's not fair, it's unjust, and it's just ****** up

Why not take all this energy and effort put into blaming the girl you ****** with no condom wanting your help in raising this expensive child (whether she be a bitch or not) and put it into practising safe sex? How about you wear some damn protection and if the other party can't for some reason MOVE ALONG. You don't have to **** certain girls and your argument to it is comparing apples to cars. She doesn't HAVE to make you pay child support? Raising a child on your own is ******* difficult and you were fine taking the risk in making it. Why don't we just crash cars and not pay for injuries and damages because we just don't want to. It'd be too hard on our lives. You take part in what ended up as a costly mistake and you pay for it. Simple as that. As for the not having to **** certain girls. That's not difficult or expensive. It's actually as easy as controlling your damn urges and if you can't sucks to be you. You can't expect people's rights to change every time you have a whine like "I had unprotected sex and ended up with a child I don't want" BECAUSE WHO SAW THAT COMING? NOT YOU, RIGHT? You can't control other people though as sadly as that is so what can you do? Make your own damn choices. Sure women make bad choices too. I'm not defending them. I'm just saying if your dumb ass has a kid. SORRY! YOU HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF IT NOW! THAT'S HOW PARENTING WORKS. So instead of sitting back with this "she should have this and she should have that." look after yourself. Don't **** up and want out because you can't handle the consequences of your actions which in this situation is a child. The same **** would go towards a woman. If you don't want a child. Take the ******* precautions or don't have sex. those are both very possible.

I don't think you've ever been on the other end of the stick; I've witnessed what "child support" can do and it is nothing pretty, it is a corrupt solution to this problem

Then be in the childs life and parent it rather than pay child support from a distance. It really is as simple as "if you don't want a child. Don't make one" that is all. If YOU do not want a child. Then YOU make sure that YOU don't get one beforehand. That goes for everyone. That is the only thing to say on this matter. No one else to take care of the matter. It's no one elses problem or responsibility than your own. Not the man's. Not the woman's. Your. Personal. Own.

It could also solve the problem of women wanting an abortion and the man saying "hold the **** up, thats MY kid too!"

what I've never understood is why people have unprotected sex if they are not ready for the responsibilities of being an adult? I mean, the abortion issue wouldn't even be an issue if people used condoms and only had sex when they were ready to be parents

I can see abortion being appropriate only in cases where the woman was raped or a medical issue arose after she became pregnant that could cost her her life.

That is the only exceptions I can see.

I personally have thought that we should require a license and some sort of medical treatment to be able to have kids for some time now. I don't mean anything to stop the natural occurrences in the body, but to at least cut down on unwanted babies and over-population.
