Getting tired of saying this...

Not all feminists are man-eating, Godless harpies. Most just want gender equality.

Where don't you have equality? Be honest.

But they got gender equality in the western world. Then they see that things are only politically equal. And instead of actually educating women to choose education that will get them higher paying jobs, they just try to pass laws which will force employers/universities to choose women. Not because they are better/just as qualified, but to fill the quota.

Then they should become an equal rights activist fighting for equal rights for all not just catering to their own agenda. The first step to gaining truly equal rights would require them to fight with men for equal rights on both sides and yes men do have lesser rights in some areas.

That's how extremists affect the group they're in. An abysmally small number of Muslims are terrorists but they are all still getting profiled as such. Not all vegans/vegetarians try to guilt you/ try to be morally superior to you because you eat meat and they don't. The crazy and the extreme will always be more prevalent, no matter how few, compared to the sane and normal.

Not ALL feminists are, but god... MANY of them are ******* cunts who seek to destroy men as a whole and try to control men. I work with one, and my even the female bosses are trying to get this cunt fired.

Then why not just identify as "humanist" or "equalist"
I mean, feminism seems to sound like one or the other, and that no one gender can be just as good as the other.

The problem is that the movement has been taken over by those who don't want equality; they want to be better than men.

There are many women who just want equality. But there are many "feminists" who think that equality means equal pay to men, while not having to sign draft cards, pay for dates, or pay child support.

I too support gender equality, but I realize there is a distinct problem with trying to deal with an issue of equality by dealing with only the issues of a single gender, and leaving the issue of the other gender being treated fairly upon mere chance.

Calling yourself feminist to support equal gender rights makes about as much sense as calling yourself a white-supporter, black-supporter or an asian-supporter if you support equal race rights, or calling yourself a masculist if you support equal gender rights. Just go with egalitarian.

I don't mind the feminists who just want equality and fairness (I even support gender equality). However, it would really help if these types actually did more to combat the bad image that these new waves of man hating "feminists" are giving all feminists.

Unless the real feminists (the ones who are all about equality and fairness instead of hating on men) start standing up much more to these man hating ones, the man-haters are just going to keep it up. Men can't do much to make them stop the hate mongering without them trying to use whatever we say as "proof" that men are evil and oppressing them.

On a psychological/sociological level this is the only way to put a stop to or at least reduce all the man hating new wave feminism. It's harder for them to support their claims and personal views of men being "evil oppressors" when enough women around them are telling them they're wrong and to knock it off.

The man haters are going to keep it up no matter what. And honestly, they're not that easy to find in real life, at least in my experience. The big problem is the media. The man-hating feminists are the ones who make the news, because let's face it, some of the **** they pull is ******* crazy, and that makes for a good story. But the real feminists, the ones who just want equality, have a very small voice in the media because no one gives a **** about you unless you're doing something ******* insane.

That doesn't mean that we just have to be okay with the ones that are. Not everyone is a serial killer. I guess we should probably just stop trying to solve murders from now on.

I can understand standing up for women in third world and traditional Muslim regions, but where is the inequality in the first world?

in;b4: Using the raw gender wage inequality instead of the individual industries gender pay statistics....
