I truly hope you're speaking on a general basis.

Oh get your head out of your arse, am I specifically talking about kids being spoilt? No. As a kid I appreciated everything I was given, doesn't mean I wasn't a little bastard. Don't think you're different because you were poor, most of the world is in poverty, yet you're speaking to me through internet. Kids are little bastards, end of story.

Get my head out of my ass? You are the one that commented with the assumption that every kid is a little **** so before you tell me to get my head out my ass why don't you shut the **** up and think. Not every kid is a little **** like I said I was raised with respect unlike people like you

Ahaha it's hysterical how deluded and pretentious you are. Stop thinking you're different from any other kid because you were poor. You're failing to understand that all kids are little bastards, it's in their nature. Stop thinking you're the one in a billion angel child who was humble and considerate as soon as you came out your mum. So yes, get your head out your arse. (Oh, and red thumbing me, mature)

No, I know full well I was an awful little ****.

That said, I agree with you, "Everything new sucks, the older stuff was better" is becoming the default viewpoint for people here, and I'm sure they hated it when their parents/grandparents insisted the same thing.

Fair point, the only thing that's making todays generation of children worse behaved is the fear of smacking them. I wasn't smacked often, only when needed. Yeah there are behavior theories that say smacking has a negative impact but it worked for me and most kids my age.
