Too bad they've reformed the X-BOX one... This is no longer a feature as far as I am aware.

I'll just leave this here not mine but has good points in it

1. You have to pay a small fee to play on pre-owned games, Microsoft have also slanted the prices so that the fee is almost the same price as when you first bought it, no matter how scratched to **** the disc is.
2. The eye camera piece is ALWAYS on, listening and watching, waiting for you to turn on the Xbox with the voice command for Kinect, meaning that you will no longer have any privacy.
3. Kinect is no longer optional, you HAVE to buy it with the console.
4. You Have to always have an internet connection and have a mandatory sign in every 24 hours, even just to play single player games, otherwise your Kinect will sign you out.
5. At the reveal they showed NOTHING NEW ABOUT GAMES, they only spoke about Fifa and Call of Duty, games which have been so overused they are now as desirable as Snookie's vagina, even the graphics have barely changed.
6. They only spoke about how you could watch T.v and movies on the Xbox, and a new Halo T.v. Series, which we all know will be posted on Youtube sooner or later for us to watch.
7. If you don't live in America you cannot use 80% of the software you paid for, which includes the T.V side of Kinect.
8. They are also now talking about how many people are allowed to watch the movie on the Xbox one in the room. So if the limit of people that can watch the film is three, and a fourth person walks in the room, WHO ISN'T EVEN GOING TO WATCH IT, the Kinect will detect the fourth person, stop the film and demand you pay AN EXTRA FEE for that person to watch it as well, even though you had to buy the god dammed movie.
9. No backwards compatibility for X-box 360 games.
10. It's as if Microsoft want to go bankrupt.

1. wrong, that price was up to devs, EA has been pulling that **** for ages
2. wrong, its always been optional to turn it off
3. oh no, hardware! PS4's eye used to be mandatory too, but they ditched it to cut the price point down, games still require it
4. dude. its steam. implying you dont have internet
5. and at e3 they only showed games, while sony spent half their conference ragging on the xbox instead of showing games
6. reveal was to reveal the new features, which they did. e3, which was 2 or 3 weeks later, was for the games, which again, they did. i dont really understand your issue.
7. seems like something microsoft would have to work out with the local companies over time, but im in the US, so i dont really care
8. Source, calling ********
9. actually, they are backwards compatible. You'd have to plug your 360 into the ONE though. PS4 isn't backwards compatible either, you have to buy extra hardware to play older games (often forgotten fact)
10. sony already is bankrupt, microsoft still makes money in other outlets so thats a joke

and even so, #4 is now untrue, you still need to go online (only once) but after that, an update is issued and you won't have to check in anymore.

at the cost of a few benefits...like downloading the disc and never needing it again, and the family sharing. (lend a game out digitally to 10 people, but only you and 1 of those 10 could play at a time, don't wanna give a game out for free to 10 people, that'd be kinda, ya know, bad. so you could buy a game and a friend could play it for free essentially.) but that's gone now...because people just had to bitch and moan about the connection they always have.

also kinect can be completely shut off, camera, microphone, all of it. but it's a cool thing to have, I like the idea of voice controls, if only to turn it on at least.

sony lost tons of cash on the PS3, and has subsequently been selling of parts of the company. right now they're thinking of pawning off the entire entertainment devision (movies music) to supplement their budget. not really defending either side, but xbox is getting **** on when playstation has many of the same function. (drm was developed by sony, someone accidentally sold it to microsoft, the sony CEO's are pretty pissed about it)

Where have you been? Microsoft said they are removing all that. The Kinect is still mandatory, but you can turn it off and it isn't backwards compatible, but neither is the ps4. Everything else is stuff you either made up, were rumors, or Microsoft removed them.

Because it's a peripheral. It's like having a second controller connected with one person playing the game. Plus, even though the software tells you that it's off, I won't believe it. It should have a hardware shut off.

Okay, except it doesn't take batteries so it wouldn't have to be recharged if a friend was to come over. Hell I've used my kinect once or twice on my Xbox 360, I think I used it as a joke in Dead Space 3 for the voice commands. Apart from that I have it plugged in because my younger brother loves to play kinect games. Having it plugged in doesn't cause me any loss towards gameplay when I'm playing games. I can play Dead Space 3 and not use the voice commands.

If it has an option to turn it off, there's no reason to be bugged about it. Even if it was on what would be so bad about having it on? What loss would you be at by having hardware built for a console enabled?

That's like saying your phone's camera shouldn't be connected when you're using it. There's no hardware shut off for your phone's camera and you're not complaining. It's exactly the same but since you have the intelligence of a 20 year bag of **** you don't understand that, every phone has the equivalent of a kinect and it can't be shutoff "hardware" wise; stop being some ******* conspiracy theorist this isn't 1984 there is no reason for you to think any of this.

There is a nifty little thing in Europe called a "Privacy Law".
In this Privacy Law it states that anything must be able to be turned 100% off.

I was going to buy it, but when they announced the **** about the game sharing I was pissed and looked into playstation. I never really looked at their store, so I didn't know they had the original PS games up for sale. I used to love Populous, Soviet Strike, MediEvil, the original resident evils, final fantasy 7/8, and all that other good stuff. Pretty much sold me, at least for this generation.
I know they changed the game trading policy to the way it is now, which is cool. But.. still, I'm ******* thrilled for all that.

TitanFall looks pretty sexy, but I'm not sure what other exclusives are coming out for Xbone. Halo, but I'm losing faith in the Halo series. Anything else?

Well, TitanFall is coming to PC as well, so that is not something that i count for the Xbox, while WarFrame is coming to the PS3, and i think that is a game that could work great with a controller. If the new Halo is revolutionary like Halo 1 or 2, then maybe ill consider it.

Other than that, i don't know, haven't followed the exclusives too heavily
