Have you ever had a (PC) game that you loved but it never seemed to get any
attention? Share it now in the comments section; give a few reasons as to why
you think it was good, and why other people should play it.
I' ll start:
The first Far Cry was an awesome game. I' m
sure most everybody has seen/ played Far Cry 3 by
now, but the first one was even more amazing at the
time, IMO. Some reasons I liked it so much include:
n. p. a great storyline, open world game, lots of game
play puzzles you have to solve, and just overall good
creativity by the developers. The AI and graphics
may not stand up to today' s new games, but that
doesn' t make it any less enjoyable, I would call it a
Extra reason why it was awesome: I don' t want to
spoil anything for those that haven' t played, but
there are giant mutants with rocket launchers for
arms .
Yes, rocket launchers.
Check it out!
Far Cry 2 was horrible.

Return To Castle Wolfenstein. The pacing and storyline were on par with Half Life, both it and the graphics at the time were incredible.

yeah what happened to farcry it started out with
a guy who develops predator like abilities which kicked ass then went to just another shooter in a tropical location
digimon games loved digimon world 2003 and digimon world 1 but its mainly an asia based game and anime i think korea maybe japan and they have been getting amazing digimon games for years now but the only ones which get made world wide are rubbish ds games which you could reproduce with a pencil, paper and some art skills and a not bad looking game only released in the usa (data savers) recently a digimon world 1 remake has come out for psp and they just made a longer vertion for 3ds but ofcorse the rest of the world will never meet this masterpiece

I played Far Cry through the the end, I never got super human abilities. All I got was a end screen with my guy in control of the monkey things I think.

Warzone 2100

It's a ******* micromanaging nightmare with exponential weapons systems of an RTS but I LOVE it and if I had resources id place it on the Company of Heros engine and just make an all knew game. I liked the campaign, skirmnishes are fun, the 'Build your own units' and if all of that was in the compant of Cheerios engine id have a total nerdgasm and totally pay 80 dollars for it. But im the only one whos heard of it so...

What was wrong with Far cry 2, other than the story?

That WAS the problem, it didn't seem to have a story line. It wasn't all bad, though; I like to think of Far Cry 2 as the blueprint for Far Cry 3.

One of my favorite games at the moment is Mount and Blade: Warband.
It's not unpopular, but it not super popular either.
Very under-rated in my opinion.

Anything by paradox interactive especially the HOI series, Europa Universalis 3 and the Victoria series. They are not that well known as a developer, but for historical strategy games they are the best makers, I have atleast 2000 hours logged between 4 of their games
