I live near one street, it's named "Шарикоподшипниковская", it looks good until you write it on english. "Sharikopodshipnikovskaya"?

"Шарикоподшипник" is a noun, it's means "ball-bearing" (not sure if it's translated properly, post a picture of it just in case.)
And "-ковская" suffix means it's not a noun anymore, but adjective.

I think its the fact they like to rip throats off that makes it somewhat difficult.

Its not called stalingrad anymore. Its Volgagrad, renamed after the battle at some point in honour of how important the Volga river that runs through said city, was to the victory of stalingrad and arguably the war on the eastern front.
