he rejected nothing.
he simply said snowden hasn't let the international arrival area and as a result isnt technically in russia.

anyway you can't say russia has a higher moral ground then the US simply because they wont extradite a man who's own family thinks should face trial.

Why would the fact that his family wants him to face trial at home mean anything? He uncovered a conspiracy against the people of the US. Of course it is first and foremost to uncover terrorist attacks, but there is absolutely nothing that stops the government from using it for other purposes.

The means never justify the ends.
Even if he did do something good by revealing the information, he must still face the legal consequences of what he did in the court of law.

Well with the amount of publicity he is getting if people just don't stop caring after a week like the band-wagon usually does maybe he will get a better one then you think he will.

Why? He isn't getting a fair trial, nor is the people who sanctioned this espionage program going to be prosecuted. He has given up his entire life, freedom and family. Isn't that punishment enough?
