I love how our government is trying to tell us he is a traitor for leaking government info and fleeing the country, but in actuality he served the people a great deal of valuable information that we deserve to know.
Oh, and **** you NSA member who is reading this.

Yeah, Putin is keeping an NSA agent to take the moral high-ground guys...

yes, he supplies hezbollah and the assad regime with weapons to slaughter syrian civilians, is returning russia to a state of fear, but he's a good guy now because he's getting involved in something that isn't his business.
#44 to #37 - anonymous (06/26/2013) [-]
Getting involved in something that isn't his business? Oh, you mean like America does... Constantly.

"I'd prefer not to deal with this issue at all—it's like shearing a pig—too much squeaking, too little wool," Putin said during a news conference in Turku, Finland

Honestly, Putin is gonna probably get a lot of info out of Snowden, but then again, America could use a good rustling.

Way too prideful and egotistical for just how much ****** up **** is actually happening behind closed doors.

And before smoeone gets on my case, no, America is not the single most evil and corrupt nation in the world, all nations are secretive and corrupt.

But America's self-back-patting and unfounded pride really needs a good ol piece of humble pie.

That's not a good guy move but a move in his own best interest.

I really don't get why people like Putin. He cats like a badass, I guess.
But the guy has just touch with reality completely.
Have any of you ever heard the story how some corrupt members of the Russian parlament stole alot of money from a Company?
Some guy found out, he tried to bring them to court. The corrupt Russians bribed the Police. The Police put the guy in Jail. In Jail he eventually ended up dying because of appendicitis or some **** because the guys in Jail were bribed aswell to make his life as hard as it could be.
When the story came to the public, Barab Obabo released a law not allowing the Russian ******* to ever step a foot on American property again.
"Badass" Putin's move was to release a law disallowing Americans to adopt russian orphans.
What a cool guy he is.
tl;dr: **** you and read the whole thing.

he rejected nothing.
he simply said snowden hasn't let the international arrival area and as a result isnt technically in russia.

anyway you can't say russia has a higher moral ground then the US simply because they wont extradite a man who's own family thinks should face trial.
#5 to #4 - anonymous (06/26/2013) [-]
Why would the fact that his family wants him to face trial at home mean anything? He uncovered a conspiracy against the people of the US. Of course it is first and foremost to uncover terrorist attacks, but there is absolutely nothing that stops the government from using it for other purposes.

what exactly did he disclose? i dont know much about snowden
#39 to #33 - jabzilla (06/26/2013) [-]
to be perfectly honest the only real information he leaked was the code name prysm. the rest of the into he released (like NSA's huge project of spying on american citizens) we already knew about in 2006 so the real reason the gov is pissed at hims is just funny

If you are, in any way, implying that Putin is not a massive ******* douchebag, you are a retard with no sense of what the **** is going on in the world, other than what funnyjunk is telling you to think. Jesus.
User avatar #84 to #60 - amegaara (06/26/2013) [-]
putin helped russia... that makes him a good guy for russia whether you like it or not

As a former big-government neoconservative, I never thought I'd now be a Snowden-supporting anarchist.
