You know what scares the **** out of me? Technological advancement is exponential, or, the rate at which technology improves is constantly getting faster and faster. Now imagine how our computers are going to be like in 20 years? Especially since we went from 30 pound bricks, to something that can process information at a rate that scares the **** out of me.

I'm always wondering if technology actually has limitations. Jesus christ just look at that that ******* computer for ****** sake. How could it possibly get any more advanced?

But of course, everytime we start to believe this, **** goes AWAL and suddenly we're in a whole new technological age.

The weirdest thing to me that (usually) people don't realize is the only thing that modern culture has developed is the combustible engine and electricity.

Think about it: The Romans, they had perfect running water and sewage disposal, means of communication, all of it.

The rate in which they developed technology and advanced throughout life were is much larger then ours, if you compare.

sorry just wanted to put that out there

They also had figured out the basics of steam engines, but didn't make them publicly accessible. This was because the had so much slaves, and if steam engines were introduced, the slaves would no longer have work and that would lead to riots and such.

That's not nice to say, just because Mac's suck doesn't mean they are as bad as 25 year old laptops.
