2 things are pissing me off as well.

1. Everyone pretends to have "OCD", because apparently that's whats kewl now.

2. No one knows what OCD is, or OCPD.

OCD is a disorder, not "erhmahgahd lol this is not symmerical it bothurs me"

Just because things are lopsided or some **** and it russles your damn jimmies, doesn't mean you're OCD. Jesus.

I know i dont understand why it's cool, it ******* sucks. and it ******* CHANGES ITS NOT JUST SYMMETRY AND ******** , IT MEANS YOU ARE OBSESSIVE AND COMPULSIVE ABOUT SOMETHING GODDAMNIT. I occasionally get just this dying inside of me when i see something unorganised and I try to ignore it but it just isn't happening and then i do that... even in games. and another thing which really ticks me off is the fact that I literally read everything I see, even if it's in another language I try to read it and pronounce it. OCD is not fun and **** all of the ******* that are like "hehe i liek being neat so im ocd rite?" It can pretty much be anything, in fact my grandmother, who I assume I got it from since I'm sure there is a gene for it, had an unnecessary level of OCD (it was bad) where she would literally freak out if anything wasn't as she had it... oh dear lord the picture frames. So hi.

My mother has had OCD since her childhood. She has learned to control it much more now but growing up it was real bad. whenever she had my sister cook (she could not touch raw meat at all and wouldnt bring herself to) she had to have one of us sit next to her until it was done. She would also wash her hands and clean things multiple times because she kept thinking it was dirty. At one point she cleaned money with windex because she felt she had to. It was not fun having to see this growing up.

That's why this post is about CDO, as the title says.

CDO, the not as serious and slightly retarded version of OCD.

Not sure if I have OCD, but I always have to blink in intervals of 2, but never at 6. Can't take the first spoon and I'm not allowed to bend my bendy straws. I must also constantly look at the left ear of the image on my phone, and only the left ear. It must be done before I look away from my phone, and I'm never allowed to complete my session of blinks while facing the wall across from me.

I'm sorry

I do not claim to have OCD, but these things do make me cringe.

right there with you. im tired of hearing " omg im so OCD about doing this action"
BITCH! you aint OCD i didnt see you count your ******* steps on the way in here or anything like that. its a damn disgrace to people who actually suffer from this Disease. people inherently like things organized . doesnt mean you qualify as having ocd because you comb your ******* cat too much. /end rant

Yeah, people just generally believe people with OCD like everything symmetrical and in order. I was diagnosed with OCD when I was like 9 and that brick thing doesn't bother me in the slightest, the only quirk I had was that I had to feel almost every surface I saw till i remembered what it felt like (weird as **** , right?). I'm also a generally sloppy person too, fortunately I've mostly outgrown the feeling thing.

Actually have O.C.D. here, kinda pisses me off too. And the fact that people post **** like this makes me angry. -_- Can't come on this site anymore without having a mini panic attack.

I agree, it's more of having a tendency or preference than anything. But you have to give people some slack, they see a pattern and they immediately want to put a name to it - it's harmless fun.

I fully agree that the people who go around saying "this has to be symmetrical LOL I HAVE OCD" are twats of the highest order but what is OCPD? the only thing i can think of that fits the acronym is Obsessive Compulsive Penis Disorder and that sounds awful
#104 to #75 - ryuryu (06/20/2013) [-]
You really like to have your penis in a certain way. You can't have it off to the side, it was to face up.
