No this is so ******* stupid and wrong. The top picture is the right way to do it. You work hard in your job so you can one day become the boss and be in that situation, that's the motivation. Why work hard your whole life if you wont get to get things easier later in life? Actually, it could be even harder to be the boss. You just work but the boss has work to do too, but also a lot more. They deal with money, hiring/firing, business practices, advertisements, talks to the higher ups, they do their share too so stop complaining. But for the 2nd picture if you work hard and get old you wont be able to pull anymore but you still can give advice and have wisdom in the field. That is why you become the boss situation, you have the knowledge to get **** done. He's probably pointing to the exact spot the big brick needs to go (which he measured and cut himself).

Because people respect those who lead by example more than those who sit around and command you. You're saying you're more willing to listen to a person shouting orders at you like you're nothing than someone helping you to get the job done?

...I am a retard

I always thought this comic was making fun of leaders because they were trying to make people work when the boss wasn't there. Now I realize it's saying a leader is a boss who helps and motivates those under him.

This is cool and all, but I can't help but see how it's way better to be the boss than a leader. I know, morals, but still...chair.

>Spends whole life trying to get to the top and actually manages to get there
>Jumps back into the **** with the rest of the plebeians

In this picture the boss actually has the right idea, the leader is doing it wrong.
