Is it me, or am I the only one who hates paying taxes for everyone's protection via military tax, and that i do not want forced health care because i never go to the docter and do not wish to waste my money on someone else's trip to the hospital?...My money and property is mine that simple. It is a rough way of thinking and living, but if i want to help someone i will do so, i do not want to be forced.

thumbs up though , i loled
pic is just wallpaper.

the only issue its its not universal healthcare like other countries have. its forcing employers to pay for insurence as well as taxing thos who dont have their own.

the first part is bad because if im a small business owner with five employees i have to pay for their insurence. while im trying to run my business with the skeleton crew that i can afford i suddenly have to pay for something else and have to cut wages or fire someone. the saddest part is the federal government is giving passes to places like mcdonalds.

the second part is bad because if you can afford medical insurence but chose not to you have to pay for others to get it while you yourself arent. it makes no sense

yeah except Harper basically **** on the UN's CO2 tax which is a tax that you pay depending on the amount of Carbon dioxide you release from your factory and basically a lot of people stop producing it because it costs too much even Bush said that global warming was made up by evil scientists to trick people (legit quote) but they still have the tax the entire world pays this tax even europe in its economy crisis and its because the UN has decided that each country must lower its CO2 output into the atmosphere, as a Canadian i'm so ashamed and basically the rest of the world is going wait wtf canada isn't paying the co2 tax why the hell am i and canada is going to be the demise of the world soooo yeah even though the states is darker it Obama is bringing the tax back but Harper has never mentioned it

As a Murrican I am VERY much for equal rights(I know 2edgy4u) but I am still squeamish about tax-paid healthcare.

Don't get me wrong, it's not because "MUH TAXES R 2 HIGH AND THEY'RE HURTIN MUH FREEDUMS". It's because our government is atrociously horrible with funds on just about all levels. If we could make some smart money decisions in this country and manage funds better I'd be more than happy to switch over to tax-paid healthcare.

In regards to healthcare I'd like to point out that cultural and economic differences mean no one healthcare system is....

Aw **** it, I give up.

The problem with the universal healthcare in question (Obamacare), does not address the central issue of health insurance which is the cost of supplies a hospital is charged. It has nothing to do with the doctors, but rather, who sells them their material such as medicine, machines, scalpels, etc. For example, you can buy pain reliever drugs at a CVS pharmacy for $1.50. The bottle contains 100 pills. A hospital charges $1.50 per pill which means you would be paying $150.

There's a whole blog site on why health care is so expensive. It doesn't necessarily discuss universal healthcare. You need to login to view this link
