I think you are underestimating Europeans.

I think youre forgetting this is a joke

Right, the lower panel should add Disney World and split "Texas" into 2 sides that are North and South.
User avatar #34 to #8 - croski (06/17/2013) [-]
The difference is that an average european can name all the countries in Europe, and quite a lot of the federal states in the USA. On the other hand, average American is having trouble with his states first...

Japanese people love Texans. My sister went to Japan to teach and everyone was excited about her being from Texas. Why Japan? This state is full of what is wrong with America.

That's also how texans see the US.
User avatar #5 - nazo (06/16/2013) [-]
Europeans see America as the continent, not the country.
User avatar #6 to #5 - continent (06/16/2013) [-]
That's weird, because there's two continents with America in the name, so you could be talking about north or south, which is just confusing, however we American's don't always want to say THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA every time we want to talk about our country, America is just easier and most people know what we're talking about. also saying U.S.A. every time is weird, that may be just me though
#13 to #6 - John Cena (06/17/2013) [-]
Sorry to break your bubble, but it's just America for us here. North and South America are subcontinents. And before you go on and rant, all these are arbitrary delimitations, so you'll have to live with it.
Also, we talk about you as the U.S., only you guys have your head so up your ass that you think you're "America", just saying.
User avatar #17 to #13 - continent (06/17/2013) [-]
subcontinents? there's North America, and South America, they are two separate continents. That's a fact, what you choose to call our country is what's arbitrary, as well as what we want to call ourselves, it has nothing to do with "having our heads up our asses. we are the United States of America so why is us calling ourselves just america for short such a hard concept?
User avatar #40 to #17 - nazo (06/17/2013) [-]
I don't really know if that's true in europe we call and TEACH us that america the north and the south is a one continent.
User avatar #2 - listerthepessimist (06/16/2013) [-]
Your average European is smarter than that
#10 to #2 - John Cena (06/17/2013) [-]
your average american is smarter than our side too...

I'm Canadian and find it easier to think about it this way... really though, why do you need 50 states?
User avatar #16 to #15 - hitero (06/17/2013) [-]
And all we have to deal with is the government spying on us...

False, US keeps putting their country on a lot of things. It just isn't possible to mistake USA with texas. And your country is big, very big compared to other nations.

In Europe its not that normal to do.

this has been reposted to many times, that microsoft wanted to use it

I cracked up at "Old Mexico" and then I smiled because I'm not Texas or California, and actually live in NY.

User avatar #32 to #31 - DivineInfinity (06/17/2013) [-]
Apparantly, Denmark, Switzerland and Holland are one country now.

but you're not fooling me, you just want our weed
User avatar #33 to #32 - diverdee (06/17/2013) [-]
Well that is actually a good combination, Holland with your weed, switzerland with their great taxes and banks and Denmark with our high economy and happy people! (only thing i could get for Denmark, i have no idea what we are known for througout europe...)
#39 to #33 - DivineInfinity (06/17/2013) [-]
Well, I don't know any stereotypes about Danes. You're kind of the canadians of Europe I suppose.
