I realise the history books have no record of a
female presence on the beaches of Normandy
during but why should that stop us hom
representing women in a war that affected them
just as much as any man? I' m tired of watching

That's just why they call it "D-day" and not "she wants the D-day"

Nice that you lied about the source, ******* , this isn't an actual article.

This is a /v/ edit, they made tons of these to ridicule Patricia Hernandez after she made an article in which she bitched how there weren't any women at some console convention.

Why were there no whites getting whipped in Roots? What's more important historical accuracy or racial equality?

if feminists gave a crap about historical accuracy, half of their complaints would be instantly invalidated.
"Women were oppressed in the past!" --Yeah, and so were 99.99% of all the MEN.
Who was exempt from the draft, even in WWII? Who gets preferential treatment in everything from opening doors to hiring to court decisions, civil AND criminal? Who gets on the lifeboats first? Women in Western Civilization in the 21st century have a privileged status, and have had it for a long time, and any scrutiny of history undermines their perpetual complaining in the here and now.

Sorry but in this case, yes, historical accuracy is more important. It's one of the most iconic movies in film history depicting one of the most tragic days in world history, so what would be accomplished by changing it? To be perfectly honest, I cant recall an event in WWII where there was a woman serving, of course I may be wrong. If her argument is true, then they should remake "League of Their Own" because it doesn't represent male equality. This is the issue I have with feminism, they want equality but still want to be treated special at the same time, i'm suddenly reminded of "Cant have your cake and eat it too" when I read this

Still, is this for real?! Seriously!? HOW IS THIS LEVEL OF STUPIDITY ACQUIRED? And that's not rhetoric, that's an actual question. Really, how?
