Am I the only gay guy that hates the gay parade? It doesn't help the cost. It just makes us look like fanatic cock-worshipping asswipes. Parading around downtown in your undies on a dildo shapped float isn't going to do anything that is going to make our reputation better. Yeah we all need to party and live a lil, but that's not the way to do it. I don't think the guy coming home late from work on 34th street needs to have a traffic jam because some guys wanted to strip on a 10ft wide mobile dildo.

I hate this type of ******** . If you wanna practice Christianity, then you have to do what the Bible tells you and be a closed-minded, judgmental, homophobic whackjob conforming to the rules of ancient societies over our own. And if you wanna just be happy and peaceful and tell everybody to love everybody, then do that, and forget trying to spread that Christianity ******** . This is why the intolerance of religion gets to continue.

Here's an interesting tidbit: CHRISTianity was actually based on the teachings of a fellow named Jesus of Nazareth, who people referred to as the CHRIST. Now this guy thought it would be a neat idea if everyone was nice to each other, so he walked around and told people what he thought. Now this would be fine in itself, and people should do what he said based on that. However, he had the added kick of being the Son of God, which made the whole "love your neighbor" thing even easier to go along with. So maybe if you see some Christians who aren't following what this Jesus guy said, perhaps consider the possibility that it's not the religion, but the misinterpretation of the religion's message by some of the people who practice it that is bothering you. Because if you assume all Christians are hateful because of the few that have gone astray, then you are no better than those who have gone astray.

Time for idiotic plot twisting:

Chicago Christians secretly gay satanists.

Ohio athlete is lesbian and wants to have a reason to feel the injured athelete's body.

Old lady left fake $20 bill to screw with waiter.

Subway turns homeless into meals.

Chinese man finds food for his family.

Plaza Cleaners genuinely nice.

Homeless girl in Rio de Janeiro now has a flesh eating infection on her feet.

Firefighter DJ 4DM1Nisters nytrous oxyde to cat. Laughing cats make sensation on the webs !

New type of protest started in Brazil - cake fight.

Sorry, these are awful...

Im fine with gays and I don't give two ***** if they kiss and **** in public. But gay pride parades are rediculous "we are not perverted freaks who want to disgust you and such" by going out in mobs and dressing like perverted freaks to disgust homophobes. And show they have rights and stuff. It's ******* obnoxious and annoying.

They had their place when they started. It was a point to prove how many they are, and that they are not ashamed of what they are, so they played to the stereotypes.
In the seventies and the eighties it was an important part of stating "Hey, we exist, and we don't want to pretend anymore."
Though today, in my opinion, they are contraproductive. If I was organising one I'd play against the stereotypes and go to point out that they are part of the society, unashamed, just like everyone else.
Throw a large BBQ, with fireworks if its done in midwest. Chilli cookout if in texas. Garden party if in GB.
With message "Come, join us at the party, talk to us, meet us, we are just like you." to break the biggest problem gay community has today, and that is that they are seen as "other" different.

You're all jumping on the band wagon, because now suddenly it seems to be more acceptable to be a faggot. If we were in the 1950's you all would be hating gays, because it is the 'in' thing. Don't be butthurt (like a gay) by this comment and say **** like: "Oh well we aren't in the 50's anymore" and **** like that, I don't give a **** , point is you only are supporting it because everyone else is. Homosexuality is wrong and has no benefit to humanity, it goes against human instinct to repopulate and breed. If anyone talks about gay adoption and **** , you are a butthurt ******* , because it is irrelevant. **** fags.

You know you're right. It's almost as though society has changed somehow and become more enlightened and tolerant. Before we know it everyone will be treating everyone else with dignity and respect. What a ghastly prospect.

I support gays and i want them to have equal rights and everything, but gay pride parades are just ******* stupid. Being gay and being proud of being gay is no excuse to walk around in your underwear and where tiny ass outfits that cover nothing but your dick, and doing weird **** . I sure as hell wouldn't want to see a strait person do that, I don't think anyone would. So why can gays do it?

gay Pride Parade Comment debate:
Yes the flamboyancy is unnecessary
However, the idea of the march is very much justified- comparable to MLK marches for civil rights.
Straight or gay, nobody wants to see hordes of guys in banana hammocks
BUT, if you don't like it, leave them be and don't go to one.
