Ethanol precipitation is a method used to purify and/or concentrate RNA, DNA and polysaccharides such as pectin and xyloglucan from aqueous solutions by adding ethanol as an antisolvent.

Anyone who doesn't know this is referencing the fact that republicans in the house want to force the National Science Foundation to hand over the responsibility of determining which studies get funded. Most of these republicans also happen to be creationists that want to "teach the controversy" but also control what research can be conducted so anything poking holes in religion or supporting climate change will never be approved. Considering that most of the funding for the NSF doesn't come from the federal government it is absolutely ridiculous they want complete control over what scientists will be allowed to study. Guess the people in West Virginia will continue having to drink toxic sulfuric acid laced water caused by open strip coal mining for the rest of their (very short now ) lives, did I mention their tap water can also catch on fire? Guess which political party doesn't like people pointing out how much damage coal companies do or the fact that if it becomes public enough it could result in a class action lawsuit. Science isn't partisan issue, democrats (organic food doesn't mean pesticide free but many liberals never listen to this and will eat organic foods without washing them off) and republicans (clean coal still releases much more harmful substances than CO2 such as radiation on a level higher than nuclear power plants due to lax regulations on coal plants) on both sides of the isle like science only when it suits their needs but the republicans have made a habit of trying to subvert science all together through legislation.

Not sure why he's getting red thumbs. This is all completely accurate. He just has a few run-on sentences. You guys need to chill with this whole bandwagon thing. You see one red thumb and start loosing your **** and thumbing down to oblivion.
