Basically, the Xbox One's unofficial name is Xbox Tv. Also, the kinect must be on 24/7, so it will be watching you masturbate. Plus, it's voice controlled, so some asshole can say "xbox off" while you're in the middle of a game. To make sure you're not pirating games, you have to connect to the servers every 24 hours, or you can't even play single player. And lastly, when you buy a game it's uploaded onto the xbox servers, so if your friend borrows your disc, they have to pay the full price for it.

PS4: Knack, Killzone, Infamous, The Witness, The Order 1886, Dark Sorcerer (I though it was just a tech demo, but everyone is acting as if it's a game), Drive Club. (nine exclusives announced)

XbOne: Sunset Overdrive, Quantum Break, Ryse, Halo, Killer Instince, Forza, Dead Rising, Crimson Dragon, D4. (fourteen exclusives announced)

I'm not including anything which is on PC but not the other console (Spark, Titanfall, nine PS4 games).

Personally I do think the One was ahead when it comes to games, but not "a ******* ," and most of the really good games are multiplatform, so you might as well get the no DRM system.

Oh, also further clarification, for that comment I am giving XbOne an advantage by not counting console exclusives (also on PC) as exclusives.

But currently, 44 games are announced for the One, 70 for the PS4. (Highly inaccurate numbers since they are continuing to be announced.)
Ultimately, number does not matter though, only quality. If XbOne has 10 great games, and PS4 has 1, XbOne will win.
However, since gamers seem to like PS4 much, much more, it will probably have an edge in obtaining good exclusives.

The PS4 is better than the XbOne in specs. The XbOne will only devote 5 of 8GB RAM (DDR3) to games, while the PS4 will devote 7 of 8 GB RAM to games (GDDR5).
PS4 has a better GPU too (.6 more Teraflops, though I'm not familiar with the effects of that measurement.)
Hard drive and CPU is equal.

PS4 has no DRM (and no always on Kinect which could be use for invading privacy). You may have accepted DRM, but shouldn't have.

Only Sony negative: PS+ is now required for multiplayer and costs $50 a year, but Xbox Gold costs more. (Worse than PS3, but not XbOne or 360)

If you seriously think they are equivalent in hardware and policy, you have no idea what you are talking about.
The one place where they are about equal is games, they both have a healthy selection of exclusives, and it could go either way in the coming year.

Whoops, it looks like the PS4 RAM specs have changed since I last checked from 1/7 system/games to "unified" meaning there won't be a separation. I don't know if that's better or worse, it could mean system is going to eat into gaming's 7, or it could mean gaming is going to get closer to the full 8.

Oh, also $400 verses the XbOne's $500, that's a major difference too.

I am beyond pumped for that game. The first one was probably my favorite game as a kid. And it still i in my opinion one of the best games of all time.
