There's a special place in hell for people like this, a place reserved for child molesters... And people who talk in the theatre.

Don't Blockbuster games have decals on the discs?

At the very least I'd expect there to be 'Rental Copy' printed on the disc, so the store would know if they ever got the wrong disc back.

One thing I never got is how did people **** up there disc so much, why would some one shell out 20-60 bucks on something then treat it like **** and not just simply put it in a case when not using it, or why do some people have the gull to be supper disrespectful with something they rent. Plus how do some disc get so messed up its like people went out side and skipped it across the road. Just needed to mini rant, post reminded me of when I go to Hastings and none of there DVDs work.

I have a friend whose family actually throws away their video game, DVD, and CD cases and then just shoves the disks inside one of those massive ******* disk holders. Then they just have ******* stacks of disks everywhere. Needless to say those games, movies, and probably CD's are pretty ****** .
On a side note: He's also one of those people that sets a book... my book... down on the spine rather than putting a bookmark in it. Everytime I see him do that, I feel like pissing fire.

One of my friends told me he would buy something expensive from a store, wait a few days and go back and grab the same item off the shelf and return it with the receipt from the actual sale. So he'd get his money back and still have the item at home.

Is this actually possible or do the more expensive items have a specific code?

My brother did this with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 at 2nd Cinema Video (it's like blockbuster).

And, yes, to this day, he still is an asshole.

I used to do this all the time.
Once they get a complaint they replace the disc and give the new person a few free nights rental.
The one who loses is the company, not the consumer.

did you know that companies are run and owned by people, and that even in big companies, when the location stops making money they close it? In addition costs get passed on to consumers, so you pay for the people who do this as well as steal and vandalize things.
