Why the **** would someone drop a 60+ dollar game at a library for free to make a "more peaceful world"???!!!
In my opinion, video games alleviate some of the violence, because then people go home and shoot up computerized images instead of a school
INB4 school shootings started after video games, but imagine how many MORE there would be without games.

Why in the **** would a library of all places do it?

Libraries are monuments of knowledge. expression, and art , why would they want to eradicate forms of expression?

User avatar #2 - namehasntbeentaken (06/05/2013) [-]
If they literally just drop games in a box at the front desk then I know that my game library will be expanding as fast as I can run away.

Yes, because Assassin's Creed is all violence.
There's no philosophy and life lessons anywhere. It's just mindless killing that brainwashed me into jumping into piles of hay with knifes on my wrists.

I could bring up the fact that there are many books that are violent, like... oh, say..
The bible.

If you really think that video games are the problem, then I have some news for you...

How about we drop in all the names of the irresponsible parents who let their 8 year old's play Cod and Halo?
User avatar #194 - infinitereaper (06/06/2013) [-]
All I see is an easy way to make money from pissed off parents.

Cut this **** out .

Don't look at me. I love violent games, and so does every other conservative I know. The only person I know who has had a game denied them by their parents for being too violent comes from a family of hardcore liberals. I did have a game denied to me once for glorifying a lesser race, but I got it once I pointed out that most of the people you shoot in the game are minorities. (Kidding about that last sentence. Parents never cared what games I played as long as I got all the stuff I was supposed to do done.
