I ******* love this band, but I'm fairly noob-ish when it comes to music. Does anyone have anything close to their style other then device that's decent?

Avenged Sevenfold
Five Finger Death Punch are absolutely amazing
Lamb of god are heavier but still great

I love Disturbed, but I have yet to find something that is close to them. Altho, I can give you a list of bands I love, which are also rock/metal/heavy rock e.c.
Black Veil Brides (Emo rock, but **** that, quite awesome.)
Nickelback (Been a fan for years, **** the haters, it's just a stupid bandwagon.)
Rise Against
The Offspring

Those are some rather nice suggestions, but Device has the same lead singer, and since disturbed broke up, it's a rather nice follow up. But I like avenged sevenfold to be quite honest, (I don't think they're all that emo,but some could call them that.) And system of a down has some sweet songs like vicinity of obscenity or pizza pie. They're rather silly songs, but the guitar play in them is pretty kick ass.

Yeah I was introduced to Device in a different comment section on this post. Check them out, ******* awesome. I too like Avenged Sevenfold and System of a down, altho I haven't really gotten into much research about them. Thanks for reminding me, tho!

I didnt particularly research too many bands, only disturbed. First time i did it, stopped reading it after it said they broke up. Tried again, and found device. My favorite song is probably hunted, or out of line.

I ******* love disturbed, and I love both of those songs. I also really like Prayer and 10 000 fists.
User avatar #107 to #106 - stardustdragonlord (06/05/2013) [-]
Might have to check out prayer. But there's soooo many kick ass bands. You ever heard Three days grace? I love most of their songs, but they can could be called emo (Im trying to be careful cause I listen to a lot of Emoish musics, and i dont wanna get butt ****** with red thumbs) But their music is really awesome

Yeah, I used to listen them, but that was waaaay ago. Don't remember much, but gonna check them out. I don't care what the band looks like. I mean, as long as you like their music, they're all good, right? I believe there are way too many ***** given about those things, haha.
User avatar #109 to #108 - stardustdragonlord (06/05/2013) [-]
I dont care about looks, I next to never watch videos because of how they look. Its just a stupid thing I dont do i guess, cause I can like picture the band however i want, but then i see the video and im like well thats what they look like i guess
#112 to #109 - ferrum ONLINE (06/05/2013) [-]
Yeh same. I usualy listen to the songs without even watching the video (using my phone, while im on a bus, school e.c.) and I like to listen to the lyrics and see their meaning in a way I want to. In some time I watch the video of the song, and it's something totaly different. Quite weird, but nice.

I know the feeling, one time I dedicated this song i heard to her, and i thought it was a simple love song... Looked up the lyrics an hour later... The song was a little piece of heaven
#114 to #113 - ferrum ONLINE (06/05/2013) [-]
Yeh, checked it out (the lyrics and song). What I have noticed, which is mainly why I like rock & metal e.c. is that they are original. If you want a love song, there are plenty of them on the radio e.c. Rock & metal are usualy about personal or global problems (Like Disturbed - Another way to die). They don't ******** around with love e.c., they go about thing, which are also important. I'm not saying love is important, it is. If you fall in love, man the **** up and go tell her that. Love is a bitch, it will make you kneel no matter what, so might aswell take a shot.
User avatar #115 to #114 - stardustdragonlord (06/05/2013) [-]
I just wish there was a metal song on the level of disturbed about love. I'm not particularly good with words.
#116 to #115 - ferrum ONLINE (06/05/2013) [-]
Try Disturbed - Devour. Might be a bit suicidal at some parts, but thats like one or two words.
User avatar #117 to #116 - stardustdragonlord (06/05/2013) [-]
Well that's fine. But if I may make a suggestion on a complete different subject, do you play a game called magic the gathering?
#118 to #117 - ferrum ONLINE (06/05/2013) [-]
Nope, I've heard of it. Not much of a gamer at the moment (Altho I'd ******* love to) since I have a ****** laptop with Linux on it which, with my computer skills, can't really run good games...
User avatar #119 to #118 - stardustdragonlord (06/05/2013) [-]
Im sorry but I laughed at that. It's not a computer game, it's a card game dude
#120 to #119 - ferrum ONLINE (06/05/2013) [-]
Ah **** , sorry, lol. Like I said, I've heard of it. But I very rarely play card games, and most of the time it's Poker, haha.
User avatar #121 to #120 - stardustdragonlord (06/05/2013) [-]
Its actually a really good game, and it's based on a novel. you can also make money off of it easily.
#124 to #121 - ferrum ONLINE (06/05/2013) [-]
Comments maxed. Hah, thanks. You should check out some of the bands that are in this reply list below and above. Checking out Shinedown, they're quite awesome and have a few love songs too, might find something there!
#122 to #121 - ferrum ONLINE (06/05/2013) [-]
Ah well, cool. But I'm not really into such things, sorry.
User avatar #123 to #122 - stardustdragonlord (06/05/2013) [-]
Eh its fine, but thanks for the music, you've got great taste in it.
User avatar #50 to #26 - damnusername (06/05/2013) [-]

Shinedown is good. I agree.
