Posting this one final time (desc.). Ryan Ferguson was 19 years old when he was arrested as a suspect for the murder of Kent Heitholt in 2005. With no eyewitnes

Ryan Ferguson was 19 years old when he was arrested as a suspect for the murder of Kent Heitholt in 2005. With no eyewitnesses, no DNA, no motive, and no physical evidence, he was still convicted of second degree murder and sentenced 40 years in jail. He has been in jail since and is now 28. He has applied for appeals 13 times and they have all been denied. Please FJ, I'm asking for your help. You can watch the report by 48 hours or sign the petition in the link below. By signing the petition he is one step closer to getting a new trial or possibly even freedom.

Despite the context, I find it hard to take seriously from a user named, "hairydickfarts."

innocent until proven guilty, he doesn't have to prove that he didn't do it the courts have to prove that he did. unless your trolling them um dumb

how do you know he's innocent?
User avatar #28 to #22 - noblexfenrir (06/01/2013) [-]
We don't. However, the courts follow a procedure of "innocent until proven guilty" under which they can be convicted when they are found guilty beyond a shadow of a doubt. If you look at the evidence, it's either circumstantial or probabilistic and not concrete or anything of that nature. How anyone could convict "beyond a shadow of a doubt" with the current evidence is absurd.
